Easter weekend was a celebration of God's love for us and the safety of my sister still in Iraq (and of Easter Bunny coming) as well as an early celebration of my 21st birthday!
Here's Kristie with her wonderful painted Easter eggs:
Katie's eggs looked like they were professionally done!
Kristie took this "wonderful" picture of me!
After 12 hours of work, some relaxation was needed. The Sparkle City crew headed to Jarred's:
Here's Kelly, Luke, Angel, Jarred, and I...4 of my bestest buds on the entire planet:
Here's Jarred's bro's awesome car:
7 am Easter morning --- "AUNT LORI!!! Easter Bunny came!!"
Luckily, they "emailed" Easter Bunny before they left Erie to let him know to come to St. Marys:
Aren't they so adorable?
I got Kristie the Barbie family for her birthday..complete with the Mom Barbie, Dad Ken, and 2 kids, but how could I have forgotten the doctor that goes with the set?? I surely didn't forget for Easter!
These girls are so spoiled!
But they're sooooo cute, too!
Katie loved her CHOCOLATE!
After presents, we made it to Church, where Katie yelled "JESUS!" after Father said "Jesus Christ" in the opening prayer.
Pictures were very hard to come by after sitting in Church for over an hour, but they actually smiled for this one!
The wonderful Gerber family:
And here's my wonderful family minus Michelle...whom we love and miss dearly:
And my adorable Grandmother (I'm her favorite! shhhhh)
My Sis, Gram, and I:
My wonderful, loving sister, Kim...I honestly don't know what I would do without her:
SOOOOO, once again, Easter and my birthday get combined..hehe j/k! I'm just glad that Easter brought everyone together to celebrate my birthday!
You know that it's gonna be a crazy 21st birthday when your grandmother buys you a drinking mug!
This is, by far, my favorite present..and it was from my goddaughter, Kristie:
I wasn't allowed to peek at my cake at Dairy Queen, so that I would be surprised:
It's a whole zoo on my cake since I'll be an intern at the Erie Zoo this summer:
This is my cousin's daughter, Veronica, with Kristie:
This is Katie during their Easter egg hunt in the backyard:
Only 3 eggs had dollars in them, and Kristie was so upset that we couldn't find the third one...so after searching for almost 10 minutes, we realized that it was with the other ones that we never hid:
Kristie was having fun taking pictures:
I was so glad the whole family could come. Kristie took this picture of my Aunt, Jeannie:
Kristie being her normal self:
At 20 years of age, Nick and Jessica are expecting their second child...so that he/she is close in age to Veronica...I give them so much credit for everything they have done! (Kristie put the necklace on Nick's head.)
Katie, Veronica, and Kristie after their hunt:
With my cousin, Karen, who can't get enough of "Vern!"
My wonderful cousin, Jennifer:
Our attempted self-portrait:
This is my cousin, Sara, who Kristie could not wait to get to our house:
And, finally, my cousin Andy...saying that this is the end and hoping that everyone had a great Easter!
