Sunrise:
Thus begins a new day
Clear and Sunny you hear the weatherman say
But in your heart you know it isn't true
For you have no one to say "I love you"

Breakfast:
An empty table, a cup of joe
The minutes seem to be going slow
The morning cigarette is what you need
Before long it is time to leave.

Lunch:
You grab a quick snack, that's all you have time for
You have a lot of work, you wish you had more
To keep your mind off your empty house
Where nothing is stirring except the mouse

Dinner:
Again you're home alone as hear the rain
Eating alone at the table your heart in pain
Wanting someone to be by your side
Your chest feels like it's been ripped open wide

Sleep:
You lie down in your empty bed
Visions of the past in your head
You say to yourself "Maybe tomorrow will be better"
Knowing you'll only feel deader

Sunrise ...
