No one ever loved me
No one ever cared
No one ever told me the feelings that were there!
No one ever thought of me or wondered how I was!!
No one ever called me up just to....Just because...
Where is my dream come true, the one that won't make me blue?
I didn't think I had found him...Until I found you!
You were the one that loved me
You were the one that cared....
You were the one that told me the feelings that were there....
You always thought of me...Always wondered how I was...
Called me up on the phone for no reason....Just because...
Have I found my dream come true, the one that won't make me blue? Baby, I think I'm falling in love with you!!

Why do I feel this pain

I wanted so much to tell you but the words were gone.
Wanted to explain, to express, to show.
But I was gasping without breath.
The cat would not give back my tongue.
My limbs, they froze and would not thaw.
Still, the ice would not break.
The door was locked to the outside world,
That world to expression and of exclamation, energy in motion.
All walls, not a window nor a door.
Fear of failure- my prison bars,
Nothing could enter or leave this dreary cell.
In this vacuum where I couldn’t be me, my identity was frozen.
No way to share my thoughts, my feelings, myself.
“Let me out!  Let me show you!” I wanted to scream.
I wish I could explain to you all,
but I couldn’t.
I was trapped.

A Code of Conduct

Don’t overlook the beauty of truth.
See goodness and mercy in everyone,
Watch life, watch it thrive and grow.
Join in the glorious singing,
Harmony of spirit and soul.
Let joy always swell your heart,
And strength swell your song.
Rejoice in the power of innocence.
If ever darkness or misery tries to lead you astray,
Just keep singing, stronger and stronger.
See the reality-
Love was here all along.
Be yourself-love and laugh, live and learn,
Realize the power of good.
Be true to your heart,
It cannot do you wrong.
Never stop singing of peace,
For faith will resound in your song.

Tumbling, twisting, and turning,
I know I have just caught a star!
Tears of joy mixed with magical laughter,
I run, I jump, I fly!
I’m soaring above seventh heaven,
Floating above cloud nine!
Somehow I just can’t stop smiling...
I feel free, I feel great, I feel so alive!
I feel beautiful, wondrous,
I sparkle and shine!
I feel as if I painted the sky blue,
As if the flowers bloomed just for me!
Though I’m shimmying down the rainbow,
My reward is greater than a mere pot of gold!
My dreams have come true,
I love it all!
I’m enchanted just like Sleeping Beauty,
Though I am surely awake!
I dance with the angels above...

Gray

I realized today that everything is gray.
There’s no such thing as simple black or white.
More dimensions and textures, add shading.

Look past your own experience.
Jump out of your skin if you dare.
Discover what gray really looks like through someone else’s eyes.

If you overemphasize the differences, you miss what’s obviously the same.  
We’re all still gray, everyone just has their own individual shade.  
Don’t hide from those gray areas or you’ll find yourself in a maze that’s even more complex.

There are many paths to the same destination.
Many sides to the same story.
Believe only what you want to believe.

All I see is gray.

Don’t run nor hide nor fall astray
From fears that just won’t go away.
It mustn't be a race,
Must be a face-off without a chase.

The truth shows itself and outwits fear,
Tis only false evidence appearing real.
For when you know where the power lies,
Love encompasses you and fear’s illusion dies.

Frantic dots 
of pouring rain, 
yet everything is 
calm, at peace.  My 
shoulders relax, I inhale 
life from the fresh air.  Cold
beauty soaks my hair.  A fresh 
start, a rebirth. The soft pattering 
of this eternal rush, the clouds 
have finally gave in and let go.
I absorb this sweet moisture 
through my pores.  Tastes 
like the tip of your 
tongue.  I shudder,
not from being
cold or wet,
but from 
this 
delicacy. 
Forever is caught in a moment.

You leap over tall buildings like it’s nothing,
walk on water, swim on land.
I could tell you anything.
You make me laugh through my tears,
Smile through the pain, my eyes sparkle.
You want what I want, love what I love.
Always victorious, when have you ever lost?
Honest and pure, I trust you.
You challenge me, make me strive harder, do better.
You raise my expectations, give me new goals.
Instant electricity, you tie my stomach in sailors’ knots.
I feel beautiful and wonderful around you,
I could never live up to your compliments.
You give and heal, don’t break your promises.
I love to wrestle you or to debate with you.
You teach me and amaze me, brilliant and strong you are, in all ways.
You are sweet, but cool.
Tough, but kind.

Just thinking about you makes me blue, 
Makes me wonder why I ever fell in love with you!
I know now that you are nothing but a lie but yet I'm dying inside! 
You don't know the damage you have done but I'm so sad that you're gone!! 
I regret that we met and those bets! 
Now here I lie crying a million tears at a time..
Why did your great love have to turn into such a crime? 
I hate you on the outside but on the inside,
I'm stll deeply in love with you and I always will be

I need a feeling
and I can't help these thoughts
nor can I explain them
they are far from sane
hell they are far from everything
These thoughts could turn to reality

The seasons have darkened
the wind is at my face
the love I crave has been erased

I look into the sky
and see the shining stars
and at times they are annoying
and at times they make me cry
I wonder why god made them shine so brightly in the sky
why didn't he just make them glow
or make them suddenly arise
sitting here thinking about the stars
I found the reason
he made them shine so bright
to tell us that everything is going to be alright
so when you're lonely look to the stars
and there you'll see the psychiatrist that doesn't charge
The let you talk and are always listening
kind of like friends- there's one in a million!
