My Thoughts...My Voice...My Life--The Poetry of Ms. Nicole Warren (Vol. 2)
This site is for my poetic side of life. The style that I write in has been classified as "Blue" poetry...I just grab my pen and allow my brain to empty itself on paper, and what comes out stays out. I have been "thinking" all my life and "writing" since I was a sophomore in high school. I remember the responses of my audience when I spoke my first poetic word in the "Christian" school I attended--let's just say my audience wasn't ready for it *wink*. At times I find myself writing about my sexuality or perhaps the erotica in my lifestyle, but basically I write what I know and what I learn and mostly what I have been through. I believe I have well over a thousand pieces in my poetry book, so you know this site will be under construction. I try to release my writing everyday, and I never force myself to write anything. NO matter where I am if something inspires me I take the time and write it down or try to keep a mental note. You'd be surprised at the things you collect when you take a simple walk down the street, or staring at your bedroom ceiling at 3 in the morning when your partner is snoring loudly.
