This is the  Victorian side of me. I imagine myself back in that era where the homes were huge with wrap around porches and high vaulted ceilings. There were plenty of ceiling fans, tassels, lace, candles, rugs, chandeliers and vintage furniture. Also collectibles were shown in curio cabinets and shelves.

Porches had rockers and people sitting around them drinking lemonade. And don't forget the afternoon tea on the Veranda. The gardens were decorated and you could stroll through them or sit down on a bench and relax in the sunshine. The women wore beautiful dresses and hats and carried umbrellas and fans. Men were courteous and kissed your hand and tipped their hats.
