I have loved dolls all my life. I saved a lot of my childhood dolls for quite some time. I had a Baby Tender Love and Timey Tell that I can remember. Of course, lots of Barbie Dolls. Then later I started collecting porcelain dolls and beautiful Victorian dolls. My favorite is a doll made from Mother of Pearl. Mom bought it for me at a garage sale and I've kept it ever since. She has a beautiful pink dress on and she is holding a rose. I bought a paper made Victorian doll a few years ago at a craft fair and I just love her. Her hair is made from paper, and it is finger curls. I have kept little collectible dolls that others have given me as gifts since I was a child. I just don't want to depart with them.
