Hi, welcome to my world where the Muse is the news.
I'm a poet and writer of five books of poetry. A 6th book of
Children's poetry is on the way. I have been writing for close to 20 years. I didn't get serious about it, until the mid 90's, when a poem I
wrote, "The Story of a Disaffected Youth," was honorably mentioned in a contest sponsored
by the Elvisology Contest sponsored by Florida Community College in Jacksonville.
Currently, I am a volunteer member of Amazing Instant Novelist on AOL, have been mentioned numerous times for poems, recently became a member of North Florida Writers, and the joined the Florida Writers Association.
I enjoy writing and hope to continue doing so for a long while. Aside from writing for enjoyment, I'm a drummer with my local church, and aspiring songwriter and community columnist for www.jacksonville.com. Check out my columns here. :)
