Dark and Light
Walking through the darkness the pounding of the heart is increasing by the second
Sounds are clear, and precise Yet all I see is darkness
Rain is light and cool in contrast with the heat that could almost melt the skin
Struggling to move forward with each new step
Now I can smell the the essence of the ocean and almost taste the water of the fresh spring
The darkness in my eyes in time will start to fade the sun will also beam once more yet the heat will decrease
