Pavilions

There are several indications if you look in God's word,
A place called Pavilions, which you've rarely heard.
Customarily associated with Palatial estates
With fountains, gardens and guarded gates.

A place where conferences and secrets abide,
Where you and others can quietly hide
Where motives are discussed, methods aired,
Where devious ideas are often compared.

One brings to the group an adventurous turn
For everyone there to listen and learn,
Another a way to aid The Master Plan,
Achieve success as soon as one can.

Another use for pavilions is a Rendezvous
To relate to the group what has worked for you,
How their best interests were carried out
And your participation could leave no doubt

That the original Blueprint was really the best,
And had met every single trial or test.
Perfectly sketched, every degree of success
Perfectly orchestrated to make it effortless.

Now that's how the Christian walk has worked,
For on every hand evil has lurked.
The Bible is the blueprint, the Master plan
That shows the pitfalls so common to man,

And all of the evils we need to escape
With attractions that come in every size and shape.
And all we need is our captains guiding hand
For situations we don't quite understand.

And all the time, we learn it only took
A Study of the rules in the Holy Book,
That God is the Architect of every line,
And everything occurred by His design.

But whether we win or whether we lose
Is all controlled by what we choose.
Come to His Pavilions with Praise and Pleas
And Enter his presence upon our knees.
