Shouldn't Be

This is how I used to be
Depressed and feeling alone
But this shouldn’t be
Now why do I feel alone?

This is how I’m going to be
Depressed when I’m not alone
But this shouldn’t be
Because now I’m not alone

This is just me
Disbelieving, yet amazed at the others who feel alone
But this shouldn’t be
Because no one is truly alone
