This Day

As we sat there so far apart,
each feeling the beating of our hearts.
You got inside me,
something I could feel not see.
And as the hours ticked by,
the thoughts of distanges died.
I was with you there,
my heart was light as air.
We were soaring,
and the world just kept on going.
Then as always life came,
and the distanges was the same.
We didn't know what to say,
but we Thanked God for this day...
