It was a beautiful Day,
like every other one,I say.
Then out of the blue,
before we even knew.
The world we were so sure of,
was shattered from above.
It came without a clue,
no warning, not a soul knew.
It's sadness will forever be,
with no ending we can see.
It's hard to see a nation stop,
but again we will be on top.
You cannot hold Americans down,
you will never have enough ground.
The lives you took,
were to many to over look.
They were friends,mothers,and brothers,
they were the loved ones of others.
You came and took them away,
Why you did this we can't say.
The smile of America is gone,
you buried it in heaps of stone.
The love of America is our hope,
we will use it somehow to cope.
And when this is all said and done.
the people of the World will stand as one...
