Through
the Eyes of a Stranger
Through the eyes of a stranger,
It would be hard to understand,
Exactly what I’m here for,
What really makes me stand.
But through my own eyes,
I can certainly see,
That many different peoples lives
Would be painful without me.
Through the eyes of a stranger,
That see many things every day,
I may seem so distant,
Unlike what they know and say.
But through my own eyes,
The truth is what I see,
Though we are different on the outside,
The inside is where we are free.
