Moonlight
Standing in the darkness,
Can't even see the night,
Looking all around,
Stopping at the light,
Hearing many noises,
Not knowing what they are,
Moving towards my window,
Seeing all the stars,
So peaceful in the nighttime,
So distant in the day,
Feeling scared every moment,
Hoping it goes away,
I look at the light I saw,
Surprised at the sight,
All I see as I look up,
Is the solitary moonlight.
