Life is
a Rose
Life is a Rose, however strange it seems,
Life starts out small, a baby and a bud,
As Life goes on, it keeps growing,
But there are ups and down in Life,
Just as the Rose will bloom and wilt,
But the Rose comes back every season,
It just needs a little nourishment,
So does Life,
Roses need water and sunlight,
Much like Life needs friends and family,
But everything has flaws,
Bad personalities and insecurities,
Too little self-esteem or the need for control,
But remember, every Rose has its thorns,
But there is still one similarity between a Rose
and a Life,
We should look past the bad things,
And focus on the good,
Because if we couldn’t get past the Rose’s thorns,
The petals would mean nothing,
And the aroma would be lost,
So take my word,
Look past the attitudes and anger,
And look to the beauty that life has to hold,
And don’t forget that in wouldn’t hurt,
To stop and smell the Roses every once in a while.
