Or the sky fills with rain,
I'll stand beside you,
And help you through the pain.
If the earth forgets to turn,
Or the tide forgets to rise,
I'll stand beside you,
If only to dry your eyes.
If the flowers forget to bloom,
Or your heart forgets to beat,
I'll stand beside you,
To lift you to your feet.
If the demons are defeating you,
And your light begins to dim,
God will stand beside you,
