SECLUSION

As I step into the world
And the light hits my eyes
I want to jump back in
Everyone out there lies

I stay in my seclusion
Like a mother's womb
And whenever I come out
I yearn for my own tomb

This is the place I've lived my life
I've grown here and here I'll die
It's too scary a' place out there
So here I say goodbye

I'm scared of life
And of all the hurt it brings
I'd rather stay in my homemade prison
Than have to deal with things

As I write this poem
Where do you think I sit?
Well there's no where better
Than in my dark secluded pit
