THE FAIRY
Today the little fairy went
Out past the wood-land wall
Suddenly she sent
Out a little fairy call
There she would stay
With one opened ear
But to her dismay
A reply she did not hear
Where could he be?
The little fairy's friend
The one she could not see
From the forest's end
She looked and looked all around
'till only moonlight shown
But, so sad, she heard no sound
and the fairy was all alone
Every day the fairy goes
And searched for her friend
Even though the fairy knows
It's allways the same end
