An ivory tower stands alone

radiant beauty in it's own

Looking oer the sparkling azure sea

 

Brick by brick I built it all

from rocky base to finial

in homage to my darling bride to be

 

A symbol of my love for you

of who you are and what you do

in thanks for all that you have given me

 

I'll not lock you up in that tower

or make you wait the slightest hour

the way so many a knave might do

 

the spire's a pedestal to me

the one I built that you might see;

to show you that my heart's bell ringeth true

 

And from this spot I'll gaze on thee

from here until eternity

and love the winsome beauty that is you...
