~Miss Me, But Let Me Go~

When I come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me
I want no rites in a gloom-filled room
Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little, but not too long
And not with your head bowed low
Remember the love that we once shared
MISS ME, BUT LET ME GO

This is a journey that we all must take
And each must go alone
It’s all part of the Master’s Plan
It’s a step on the road to home
MISS ME, BUT LET ME GO

When you are lonely and sick of heart
Go to the friends we know
And bury your sorrows in doing deeds
MISS ME, BUT LET ME GO

~Author Unknown~

Bud was a school bus driver for Joint School District #171
This was the job he truly loved the most
He had many friends there
He had to give it up because of his health

~I’m Free~

Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free
I’m following the path God laid for me
I took his hand
When I heard him call
I turned my back and left it all
I could not stay another day
To laugh, to love, to work or play
Tasks left undone must stay that way
I found that peace at close of day

If my parting has left a void
Then fill it with remembered joy
A friendship shared
A laugh, a kiss ah, yes
These things I too will miss
Be not burdened with times of sorrow
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow

My life’s been full, I’ve savored much
Good friends, good times a loved one’s touch
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief
Don’t lengthen it now, with undue grief
Lift up your hearts and share with me
God wanted me now, He Set me free

Bud and Joan
His lovely wife of 47 years

Joan
It’s hard to see tomorrow
When someone you love is gone
And it’s harder still to realize
That your life will still go on

But the Lord won’t give you burdens
Which He knows you cannot bear
And He will not leave you comfortless
You’ll always find Him there

We’re all our Father’s children
Here on earth and up above
And your loved one now walks
Close to God, surrounded by His love

This page I made in memory of Bud Adams
I only met him once, but he was a great man
He was full of life and humor
He will be in our hearts forever
And will never be forgotten
My Love, Thoughts and Prayers
Are with you Joan, Craig, Mark, and Rhonda
Also to the rest of his family
God Bless You All
