We are a friendly group of individuals who meet in the Border City on a regular basis on Monday evenings, once a fortnight.

The main purpose of the meetings is to share our work and knowledge with like-minded people and then to stimulate our writing technique.

Some members are working towards publication, while others write simply for their own gratification.

Our members write short stories, poetry, novels, prose and factual pieces for magazines in all genres.

The group has produced anthologies, held talks, done radio and television slots, conducted a poetry evening, organised readings in bookshops and ran a creative writing course. Recently the group displayed its work in Carlisle Central Library. The group is governed by the consensus of its members
