The game began the very moment I made eye contact with you.
It was one of those awe-struck moments
Where you lose all perception and the world becomes a blur.
For a while, we took turns stealing the ball,
And dribbling around the floor.
When you found out about her you walked off and went home.
She left and I practiced my skills,
While you watched from a far,
The ball landed in your side of the court.
You've found the ball,
But it's your shot now, your decision.
The indecidedness that plagued the game and I for so long
Is growing near to and end.
All eyes on you now,
Beating on your like like a door,
Waiting for someone to decide and answer the beckoning call.
The time is almost up.
Time to choose.
