Amidst the Desert Sands

Amidst the desert sands of his sadness,
Within a vast and mysterious place,
Invisible streams of which dreams are traced
Help lead the traveler's way so endless.

Sunlight shines hard upon the traveler,
Weary and weak with dreams out of his reach,
Walking on pebbles of waterless beach,
Over the ridge appears a straggler.

Revived by gusts of friendly winds of north,
The traveler approaches that figure,
Making him that loner alone no more.

The mysterious figure coming forth,
The sun hides behind clouds that grow bigger,
A stream appears to fill his lonesome dreams.
