Maestro Marcello Garofalo, under the auspices of Bel Canto Opera Centre, engages in a variety of musical activities:

• Private voice coaching; Maestro Garofalo has a particular commitment to fostering the vocal careers of minority artists, and has worked with a number of distinguished black singers.  He has also taught at the Harlem School of Music

• Advocacy of the compositions of Carlo Giorgio Garofalo and Lorenzo Perosi

• As host of the popular cable access TV show, The Manhattan Classical Opera Hour, he has interviewed a number of distinguished guests from the world of classical music.  The program also features live performances of operatic excerpts by up-and-coming young artists
