You always wanted to see blue skies and cursed the clouds before you. You talked about faraway lands and imagined men whom you had never met. What you never realized as you fingered the lapel of your leather jacket was that I was a dreamer too and that I was right before you. |

Thought about writing more stanzas about what her experience would be like after receiving, and how I hoped she missed me, and about how I was a dreamer too but that unlike her I liked the clouds.
Originally the wording "imagined men" was supposed to be foreign men but I thought it might not capture things correctly for the reader.
I considered some other wording instead of "before you" for the clouds such as "in front of you", "in your way", "blocking".
