You are the sunset
and you are the sunrise.
You are the reason
    to climb the mountain

    to trudge down valleys.
You are the reason
    for the sunshine
and you are the reason
    for the rain.
The hot sprinkled showers
    of the summer
pepper our face
    and our shoulders
    in your name.
You are the legend
    that burns embers in our hearts
and inspires our souls
to know
