IN MY ARMS

In my arms
is where you’re supposed to be.
In my field of vision
for me to see.
In my life
for me to spend time with you.
In my reach
for me to take care of you.
In my thoughts
for me to think of you.
In my dreams
for me to always be with you.
In my hands
so that I can never let you go.
In my marriage vows
so that when we wed, you will know.

I had some difficulty with the last lines.
Originally wanted to have the word "marry" in them, but came up with marriage vows and was even happier with that due to the non-whimsical pun of "In."
The in my dreams one is one that I felt was imperfect but okay: the part I did not like was the implication that somehow one was less together outside of dreams.
The "for me to think of you" could be criticized as both lines in the couplet meaning the same thing.
Despite any possible criticisms of this poem, is overall better than I expected it to turn out when I started writing it -- because the second half was more romantic than I expected it to become.
Last line is intended to me mean "you will know I am committed to you" etc.
