ELDER BROTHER

At 9, he sat there
     while his younger brother cried
     having been pushed away.
At 6, he had, in his life, held his younger brother.
At 7, he had been scolded
     when it was his younger brother who was in the wrong.
At 10, he had protected his younger innocent brother,
     when a child from the neighborhood was mean to him.
At 40, that's why it hurt his heart when
     his younger brother shouted at him.
