Just in case you somehow got here while missing the emphasis of the page...
This page contains atheist poetry, unbelieving poetry, and so on. I would say: Don't read it if you're religious, but some theists can tolerate perspectives that are different than their own. So I've gone for a simpler warning:
Don't read it if you can't handle it.
Poems copyright 2001-2002 by Keri Stevenson. In case you want to steal them for some incomprehensible reason, don't. E-mail about them is happily accepted, although if you're trying to convert me you're wasting your time.
Ah! That This Doom Must Be Hers!- An atheist who believes that death is the end of all life struggles to come to terms with the inevitable and everlasting death of the woman he loves.
An Atheist's Awakening- Pretty much exactly what it says, though I'm afraid it doesn't make much sense.
Battleground- Imagine for a moment that ultimate Good and ultimate Evil are real. Now. Why should Good win every battle?
Because It's Unseen Doesn't Mean It's There- The title may seem like a joke, but it's amazing how many things people believe in precisely because they can't see them.
Frangas Non Flectas- Latin for "Break, Not Bend." Something that's anathema to a lot of Christians I know.
I Can Almost Believe- Well, sometimes I can. Usually at sunset.
Idolatry- A love poem, comparing the adoration of something human to something divine. At least you can see the human.
No Such Thing As Fate- One reason I'm glad that I don't think gods exist.
