Cilia and Flagella

The cilia and flagella are structures used by the cell for movement. The cilia are short hair like appendages that move the cell. The flagella is a tail like appendage that propels the cell. Both the cilia and flagella are attached to the outside of the cell. The first four pictures below are different cells with attached flagellas. The last picture is a cell with attached cilia.
