Topic: New Tab Postings
"In Context Of the Moon", the closing track on Max Webster's High Class In Borrowed Shoes (1977) album, was the second in a series of moon-themed songs, one of which appeared on each of the first four Max Webster studio albums. It was preceded by "Coming Off the Moon", from the band's 1976 self-titled debut album. "Beyond the Moon" was featured on 1978's Mutiny Up My Sleeve, while "Moon Voices" -- the last of the series -- appeared on the 1979 album A Million Vacations. "In Context" was also featured on the band's 1980 live album Live Magnetic Air, and was the B-side of the single release of "Words To Words". The musically eclectic tune - ranging from hard rock to jazz and back again -- has long been regarded as a Max classic.

You can see a video of Max Webster playing the song live here, but the version I've chosen to embed below is the video I referred to a lot while doing the tab. It's a live version of Kim Mitchell playing the song with his own band (very faithful to the Max version, with the exception of some guitar solo bits), and in several spots it gives a good, clear look at the guitar playing.
