I spent last night cleaning up the video page. It turned out to be not quite as bad as I was expecting. One day awhile back I had clicked on a bunch of the links on that page and it seemed like almost half the videos were no longer there. I guess that's the nature of YouTube, though. A video that's there one day can be gone the next. Now you see 'em, now you don't. When the videos are gone, it's always one of three reasons listed:
a) user has removed the video
b) user has violated terms of use
c) copyright claim by publisher/record label
The day I did the test of the handful of links, it was the Various column on the lower part of the page I was testing. A lot of those videos were gone, so I expected it to be the same with both other columns. It turned out not to be that way, though. Last night I tested all of the links on that page. In the Canadian column I had to remove about four links. In the Girlschool column, it was just one. In the Various colum, I had to remove twelve links. That's the area that took the biggest hit. There's practically nothing left in that column now! On the upper part of the page where the embedded videos are, I needed to remove two of them. I'll also need to test the embedded videos on other pages (I just thought of that, so I haven't done it yet).
So right now all the links on the Video Page should be good...for awhile, at least.

Sorry, I only found this message today! (3 days after the fact) I always get a notice in my e-mail if there's a new blog comment, but I didn't get one for this comment. Maybe it's the "blog comment notifiers" who are on March break. 
This has happened once before. I guess until I start getting notices again, I'll have to be sure to check the blog posts themselves to see if there are comments.
I haven't taken it in to the shop yet, mainly because I've had a bit of a cold. Because of moving and rearranging a lot of stuff over the last few months, my other guitar isn't accessible right now. Barricaded into a closet, actually. Sounds silly, but it's true. 
As soon as I have a workable guitar, though, I'll be back at it.
