Well, I can't believe I missed Canada Day.  Of course, I'm not Canadian, so that's one excuse, but I have like seven calendars, most of which are not American publications so they list a variety of international holidays.  Plus, it's evenon my Rush calendar, although in my defense July is black and grey and not as easy to read.  Tomorrow (Friday) is our Indepence Day, so you can ignore that holiday, while we here swill cheap American beer and blow our fingers off with firecrackers.

Nevertheless, I thought I'd comment up here, closer to the top, so you don't have to hunt around so much, until you get that glitch worked out. My one suggestion is turning off the notification, publishing at least one post and then turning it back on and publishing a post.  If that doesn't work, I've got nothing else.

The 'sorry bout that' was just a joke about the generally unsubtantial nature of my own blog.   Even though it has continued over three years, I don't really 'blog' per se, that is, I never really write anything. I mostly post pictures and crap, but at least the pictures are ones I took, and the silly items I feature, trading cards, postcards, etc., are generally scans or photos of things I actually possess.  (Recently I posted some Rush stuff, by the way.)  So that's all.  I assumed it was you visiting; someone from Canada following a link from your page.  Beyond that, I don't know.  I'm not an internet stalker.  Really.  Besides, you admitted to visiting in a follow-up comment if I remember correctly.  I get about 10-15 random visits, from around the world, a day from Google searches.  I recently had, literally, hundreds of hits for a picture of Samantha Fox that I posted several months ago.  I can't explain it.

So, I've rambled on long enough, I think, long enough that I've forgotten the point, if there was one.  But this has helped me pass some time at work, until I can go home and enjoy the day off.  So I thank you for that.  The Rush concert was great, a repeat of last summer, but took my son, Manny Jr., who is 11.  It was his first real concert and he had a great time.  And the Headpins video in question was the link you posted for "Just One More Time." I think I was hot for that girl in the 80s.

Hi Manny,

Hey, what do you mean Canada Day is even on your Rush calendar? Canadian holidays certainly should be on a Rush calendar! Hope you had a good 4th of July holiday weekend, with the cheap beer, firecrackers...and lots of flag waving, of course. Smile I haven't gotten website stats for two days now, so I think Angelfire decided to take the holiday weekend off.

You might have noticed the blog entry where I mentioned the glitch seems to be fixed! When you left your above comment, I received a notice about it. I haven't had a comment since, so I haven't had a chance to test it again, but me leaving this comment should result in a notification. So I'll know soon if it seems to be fixed for good. If not, I'll try what you said.

I "admitted" to visiting your blog, did I? You make it sound like some terrible thing! Laughing I'm kidding. Yeah, I should come by and see the Rush stuff you posted. Actually, what you do with your blog sounds pretty cool. People like visual stuff. Half the time I'm just being Blogger Of the Obvious: "I posted a new tab today." Most people enter the site through the Home Page, and see it before they ever see the blog. So by the time they read the post, they're probably like, "Yeah, we know."

So you posted a picture of Sam Fox several months ago, and you're getting hundreds of hits for it right now? That is a bit unusual, isn't it? But that's what'll get a website hundreds of hits, is it, posting a picture of Sam Fox? Why am I not surprised? Wink

Good to hear you and Manny Jr. enjoyed the Rush show!
