About  Flyingstag of the Yunsai Society

I have always sought to better my way of life. I have looked into many peoples ways and I found that I resonate to those which teach from principles that are universal. Taoism and The Indigenous peoples ways are the ways that resonate with me the strongest this includes the my Welsh roots and traditions, those of the Celtic peoples.

I have had the privilege to walk and learn beside a Cherokee Elder by the name of Pa'Ris'Ha and am an active member of the Yunsai Society.

Pa'Ris'Ha is the greatest example of integrity, love, compassion, strength I have met. She walks her talk, I know because in the time that I had been seeking a path I went to many programs and teachings , churches and stayed at an an ashram for a few weeks, in my search I became very adept at seeing those who would teach one thing but did not demonstrate those principles fully in their lives.

After I met Pa'Ris'Ha, for years I waited and watched for her to do something that did not coincide with what she taught. After 17 years I still have not seen her waiver.

My parents were Christian and of a missionary training school. My father had a nervous breakdown when he was 28 and was bed ridden with fear due to the fear of and his inability to accept that a loving God would allow people to suffer endlessly in a lake of fire. He now has a ministry that helps people out of the same fear.

I am of the belief that there are many paths to the understanding of ones relationship to ones creator.

That no one person or group has the exclusive way to Creator.

I believe that everyone has access to direct communication with creator and need no intermediary to pass the message.

There are many ways of belief in the world and there are those that disagree. We must find a way to live with each other peacefully, agreeing to disagree.

Killing each other in the name of God, when life is sacred does not make sense.

I find great wisdom in the ways of my elder.

One tradition is that if there was to be a war, the chief that would make that decision would lead the people into the battle.

Another tradition was that the Chieftains ate last, to ensure that everyone would be fed. If there was not enough food for them at the end of the line they would know they needed to focus on gathering more food.

If the leaders of the world today practiced these traditions, it would be indeed a different world.

I have been blessed beyond measure. I give great thanksgiving to those who have kept the teachings pure through the generations. My purpose here on this page is to share and assist with what I have been given.
