Sharon of Canada sent in this recipe, with a suggestion as a New Year dessert- Yummy!!!

1 8, 2-inch frozen tart shells, 1/2 Cup golden corn syrup
-thawed 1/4 Cup brown sugar, packed
1/3 Cup walnut pieces 2 Tbl butter, melted
1/3 Cup chocolate chips 1/2 Tsp vanilla
2 large eggs Icing sugar for dusting (optional)

Preheat the oven to 350 F.
Place the tart shells on a parchment-lined baking tray; divide the chocolate chips and walnut pieces among them.
Beat the eggs in a bowl; mix in the corn syrup, brown sugar, butter and vanilla.
Pour the mxture into the tart shells; filing them right to the brim.
Bake 25 minutes. Cool on a baking rack to room temperature.
Chill in the fridge. Remove the foil liners, set on servng tray and dust with icing sugar, if desired and serve.
