A Brazilian Christmas recipe sent in by Grace Alencar of Brazil.
| 6 Eggs, Separated |
1 Teaspoon Rhum |
| 1/2 Glass Butter Or Margarine, |
Frosting: |
| -Good Quality |
Marshmallow Coating |
| 250 Grs (8 Oz) Sugar |
50 Grs (2 Oz) Nuts |
| 6 Tablespoon Flour |
Maraschino Cherries |
| 1 Tablespoon Yeast |
Peppermint Or Basil Leaves |
| 250 Grs (8 Oz) Walnuts, Chopped |

Beat the egg yolks with the butter and the sugar to obtain a smooth cream. Mix the flour with the yeast and leave to rise a little. and agg to the egg cream Add the chopped nuts and rhum and finally fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites. place in a greased and floured circular (ring) tin. Cook in tghe oven at 180º for 25 minutes. prepare the coating according to the instrustions on the packet, and cover the ring once cooled. Decorate with walnut halves, cherries and and mint or basil leaves.
