Tim: Hello to yet another exciting episode of the WMW's fatal friday fights. Today on our show, a blast from the funky 80's past!

AJ: That's right! Godzilla 80's is here today alongside his incarnation from the twenty first century. These two are tag-teaming up to take down an opposing force, just as powerful.

Tim: Themselves! Sort of...

Gojira '84 & G2k versus Hanna-Barbera Godzilla and GTS Godzilla versus Dark Horse Godzilla & Marvel Godzilla

Tim: For this match-up the Beta 19 has created an interesting setting. There are two rows of eight sky scrapers in the middle of the arena, surrounded by a ring of mountains. Within these mountians are lakes, plateaus, jagged cliffs and forests.

AJ: Looks like a battlefield to me. G84 makes his trek through a maze of rock in the mountains, while his partner wades through trees a good distance away. Marvel Godzilla is stranded atop of a plateau, Dark Horse Godzilla is lurking dangerously close to G84 and GTS Godzilla leaves his partner on the streets below as he scales a skyscraper to assess the situation. From his perch atop of the structure GTS Godzilla notices an encounter between G84 and the Dark Horse Godzilla. Dark Horse Godzilla came across G84 and took to the offensive. Sadly G84 noticed him first. The dorsal plates of the 80's Gojira ignited in an intense blue glow, indicating an imminate attack. DH Godzilla has little time to react, bracing himself for a powerful blow, mere instants before G84 expels a powerful burst of atomic energy from its maw. Now DH Godzilla, like the other Gojiras can absorb radiation and nuclear energy, however the force of the resulting explosion sends him reeling in pain. Shortly after recovering from the breath weapon, DH Godzilla finds G84's massive form bearing down on him for a body slam. Dark Horse Godzilla is rocked backwards but quickly retaliates, biting into G84's hide. G84 attempts to beat away DH Godzilla with its fists, but is unable to repel the mammoth saurian. DH Godzilla pulls at G84's flesh with its clenched jaws in an attempt to dismember his older counterpart.

Tim: All this time Marvel Godzilla has been searching for a way to get off of the plateau he's on and finally decides to simply jump off. Marvel Godzilla then crawls out of the resulting crater, and lays down, taking his time to recuperate.
Dark Horse Godzilla finally succeeds in tearing a mass of flesh free from G84's form, inflicting massive damage to his latter. G84's cries of distress summons the attention of G2k, who soon arives on the scene in aid of his partner. DH Godzilla calculates his chances of success against two Gojiras alone and flees.

AJ: Marvel Godzilla, at last, feels fit to fight and takes off in search of a foe. He soon spots a green mass of flesh (four Gojira's in this match are green and only two are grey) and attacks with his flamebreath. A retaliation cuts through the resulting smoke in the form of a nuclear beam. The heat ray strikes Marvel Godzilla's chest, tossing sparks and green scales into the air. It isn't even until the smoke clears that Marvel Godzilla realizes he's attacked DH Godzilla, his ally. The two stop and stare at eachother, unsure of what to do next. Shortly after G2k spots DH Godzilla, its dorsal spines begin to shine with a radiant orange. Enrgy mass builds in G2k's maw before finally Godzilla 2000 attacks with its thermonuclear breath. The discharge of energy rocks DH Godzilla's form, sending the comic book duo into retreat towards the city.

Tim: HB (Old Cartoon) Godzilla, who has been inactive most of this round, soon finds Marvel Godzilla's emerald form surging towards him, followed close behind by DH Godzilla. Old Cartoon Godzilla shapes up, ready for a fight, only to find that the two comic book Gojis pass by without even noticing him. Soon there after, the live-action Godzillas arrive, chasing after their Marvel and Dark Horse incarnations. The live-action Godzillas would have passed by HB Godzilla unnoticed, had it not been for GTS Godzilla. GTS Godzilla, from his perch atop a sky scraper, attacks, bathing G84's head and chest in green flame. G84 howls in misery, its tiny arms flailing about, trying to find its target. G2k takes notice of GTS Godzilla, and with a radioactive discharge, brings the structure its perched on coming down. One of G84's blows finds its mark, striking HB Godzilla. HB Godzilla retaliates with its flame breath onto the already burnt G84. G84 seeks to end the barrage of flames with a fist to HB Godzilla's head. HB Godzilla stumbles back from the attack but quickly recovers and launches a counter attack. The great American Godzilla grabs G84's arm and tosses the great dinosaur to the ground. HB Godzilla then attempts a pin...1...2.. Godzilla tries to repel the green Godzilla with an atomic ray to the face, knocking HB Godzilla back. In the time that it took HB Godzilla to recover G84 picked himself up from the ground, breaking the pin. HB Godzilla grunts, stepped towards G84, before finally he is knocked to the ground from a blow from G84's bulky tail. G2k picks up HB Godzilla and embraces him in a bear-hug for increased effectiveness of his nuclear pulse. An instant before Godzilla 2000 releases the afore mentioned pulsation of energy, HB Godzilla kicks G2k in the gut, permitting HBG time to escape.

GTS Godzilla finally frees himself from the rubble and comes to his partner's aid. The two exchange glances before GTS Godzilla leaps to the air. HB Godzilla then permits GTS Godzilla to spring board from his arms so that he might pin G84. G84 attempts to blast GTS Godzilla out of the air with his nuclear beam. G2k does the same. The two beams both miss GTS Godzilla, but hit each other. The explosion resulting from the meating of these two energy discharges tosses all three combatants backwards and onto the ground. HB Godzilla stands over the three fallen Godzillas deciding which to pin, G2k or G84. Before he can make up his mind Marvel Godzilla's arms lock around HB Godzilla. Marvel G then holds HB Godzilla in place while DH Godzilla pounds into his gut. HB Godzilla manages to direct his eye beams to DH Godzilla's face, sending the creature realing back in pain, steam rising from his scorched face. In shock at HB Godzilla's fighting ability Marvel Godzilla tosses HBG to the ground. GTS Godzilla rises to his feet and scorches Marvel G with his green breath weapon. Marvel Godzilla roars in agony before charging to GTS Godzilla in blind rage. Marvel G swings for GTS Godzilla's face, but the nimble monster ducks down beneath the blow. Godzilla then bits into Marvel Godzilla's gut. Marvel Godzilla beats GTS Godzilla, pounding into the iguana's chest and shoulders. DH Godzilla is soon back again to take hold of GTS Godzilla's tail and pulls him from his partner. DH Godzilla then swings GTS Godzilla as a living bat to drive away an approaching G2k. G84 is back to his feet and roaring to go. The great beast charges DH Godzilla for a large-scale sumo match. G84 and DH Godzilla push their own bodies against the other, G84 slicing into DH Godzilla's sides while DHG bites into G84's shoulders. GTS Godzilla and HB Godzilla spot their chance to attack two opponents at once. The two cartoon Godzillas expel intense fire from their mouths, raking dual streams of flames across their grappling opponents, liting both G84 and DH Godzilla on fire. DH Godzilla finally wins out in his contest of strength with G84 and tosses the older Godzilla to the ground. He then turns his attention to HB Godzilla, sending him to the ground with a nulcear beam. G84, while on the ground, takes the opportunity to smother the flames by rolling. DH Godzilla, still burning, rushes to HB Godzilla, tackling the 70's G to the ground for a pin...1...2..3! The first of the Gojiras has been eliminated!

AJ: G2k seems to have come up with some kind of plan and grunts towards G84. G84 nods and nears G2k.

Tim: GTS Godzilla leaps onto DH Godzilla, who had yet to get back up from his pin, and begins biting and tearing at DHG's burning form.

AJ: Both G84 and G2k are glowing, G84 in blue and G2k briliant orange. G84 touches G2k and his glow begins to fade while G2k's is intensified.

Tim: DH Godzilla rights himself, in despite of a mutated iguana riding his back. GTS Godzilla bites into DHG's neck and begins to twist and jerk DHG's head around. DH Godzilla tries to reach GTS Godzilla in vain, but Marvel Godzilla is on his way to help. Marvel Godzilla tugs on GTS Godzilla's tail. GTS Godzilla takes notice and kicks Marvel G in the chest, knocking him to the ground. Marvel Godzilla gets up again, and yet again attempts to pull GTS Godzilla from DHG's form. This time, utilizing all of his strength, Marvel G succeeds and tosses GTS Godzilla to the ground. Before GTS Godzilla has time to get up Marvel Godzilla and a vengeful DH Godzilla descend on him, kicking, pouding, biting and clawing the great iguana, even after he's tapped out.

AJ: G2k radiates with the power of two Gojiras, his form barely vissible within the intensified aura. G84, drained of all his energy, needs time for his nuclear reacting powers to replenish his strength and taps out. But even with the lack of his partner, G2k more than makes up for it, for now he is Super Godzilla!

Super Godzilla versus Dark Horse and Marvel Godzilla

Tim: Super Godzilla's roars echoe throughout the entire arena, his voice commanding the authority of a god. Dark Horse Godzilla roars in defiance before he stands to oppose the new behemoth. Super Godzilla curls its lips, barring its teeth to DH Godzilla. Dark Horse Goji fires his atomic heat ray, the beam colliding with Super Godzilla, tossing sparks and smoke into the air. Super Godzilla merely shrugs off the attack and clenches a fist. Super Godzilla throws a punch, glowing with power and striking DHG across the face.

AJ: DH Godzilla falls to the ground but Marvel Godzilla immediately steps in to replace him. The Godzilla of the Marvel comic books pounds his fist against Super Godzilla's hide, forcing Super Godzilla to wince backwards. He then expels a discharge of flame from his maw, scorching Super Godzilla's face. Super Godzilla maintains control, his dorsal plates springing to life with intense green energy. A sphere of energy forms in Super Godzilla's maw, signaling the coming of his all-powerful Nova-Beam! Following a flash of briliant yellow light Marvel Godzilla is thrown to the ground.

Both DH and Marvel Godzilla attack simultainiously, one with a heat ray and the other with a stream of fire. Super Godzilla extends his arms and blocks both attacks with an open palm. After the failed attack of their breath weapons the two comic book Godzilla's exchange glances. DH Godzilla suddenly charged Super G, slamming his body against Super Godzilla's emmense form. Super Godzilla is knocked backwards, but maintains his stance. Then Marvel G body slams Super G. The two comic book monsters attack again, raking both of their breath weapons across Super G's chest. The two then body slam Super Godzilla at the same tame, knocking down one of the mightiest monsters of all time. Thinking that they've been given the golden oppurtunity, the two comic book monsters attack Super Godzilla, just as they had GTS Godzilla earlier in this show. A nuclear pulse, however, proves to be enough to knock the two Americanzillas away from Super Godzilla, giving the greatest monster of all his chance to get up.

Marvel Godzilla looks to DH Godzilla. Marvel then radiates in white nuclear energy, while DH Godzilla glows in blue. Marvel Godzilla touches DH Godzilla and begins the nuclear energy transferance at an excelerated rate. Marvel Godzilla's glow fades while DH Godzilla's intensifies.

Tim: If Super Godzilla doesn't act quick he'll be facing off against another Super Godzilla.

AJ: How right you are Tim, but luckily Super G's got it covered. Super Godzilla attacks with his naval-beam, his most powerful of attacks striking DH Godzilla, just as he was beginning to transform. When the light fades no signs remain of either comic book Godzilla. The live-action Godzillas win.

Tim: So live-action wins, even though it was a videogame kaiju that actually defeated Dark Horse Godzilla?

AJ: I guess. But what I don't get is why the two comic book Gojis waited so late in the match to attempt the transformation themselves.

Tim: Simply put AJ, they wanted to hold out as long as possible, that way when they acheived the transformation there was a higher chance that G2k would change back to normal first.

AJ: Oh! So that Dark Horse Godzilla would remain in Super Form after G2k turned back to normal.

Tim: Exactly.

AJ: Well, gee. I wish we had more to show our guests this week, but we got nothing. It took us so long just to get the new polls up.

Tim: At least there'll be an even better episode next week! Until then I'm Tim!
