Episode #32: The Draconic Tournament

AJ: Hi everybody. Today marks the Draconic Tournament! Eight dragons, but only one Draconic Champion!

Tim: And joining us today, a shrunken down version of the expert on dragons, Enferno!

Enferno: Good to be here!

Tim: So Enferno, what do you think about the competition. Who do you think will win?

Enferno: Tough to say... They've all got a history of violence. Gappa, I can't say, but I know Ultrizard and Magano are pretty viscous. They've both given me heck in the past. The D-War Dragon is a celestrial being. It's really not in its nature to kill, but as we know by the archives and how he handled the Cloverfield Monster afew weeks ago (Matt Kong is still working on recovering that information from our security cameras), we know he's capable. Super Geon is certainly a force to be wreckoned with... It's tough to say who will come out on top.

Tim: Well then I guess there's only one way to find out! Let the Tournament begin!

Draconic Tournament 2:
Round 1, Match 1

       VS
Super Geon                                                   Gappa

Tim:Super Geon forces his lumbering form between sky scrapers that dwarf even himself, as he hunts for his oponent, Gappa. However, it is the great Gappa that finds him first. Descending from the skies above a synthetic San Fransisco is the bird-lizard monster from a forgotten age. Before Super Geon realized what was going on the mass of Gappa was upon him, forcing him to the ground. Super Geon struggles to gain the uperhand, but he barely has any knowledge of the situation, except that he's been attacked. Short arms pound into Super Geon's gut as great wings beat against his sides. In an effort to escape being battered to death Super Geon summons fire forth from its maw. The great heat and the threat of being burned to a crisp is enough to ward away the attacking Gappa.

AJ: Gappa retreats into the sky, but no one can be sure how long he'll stay gone.

Enferno: Breathing fire is a common trait of the dragon.

Tim: I know this will sound first-grade, but just how is it that a dragon breaths fire.

Enferno: Good question. There are many ways in which a dragon can breathe fire. Dragons like the RoF Dragon use chemical solutions, while some exhale a flammible gas which ignites on contact with the air. While still other dragons, like Saphira, utilize a pure magical flame, which requires no fuel to burn. It's just pure flame!

Tim: That is incredible!

AJ: WHile creatures like Gojira use neither. And using a beam like Gojira, Gappa detonates huge explosions all around Super Geon. . Gappa crackles in challenge, calling its foe to fight. A reply arrives in the form of a horn sailing through the air. Super Geo's horn finds its mark, punching a hole through Gappa's feathered left wing. Gappa descends in retaliation, searching for its foe in the smog. Gappa finds Super Geon, her foot colliding into the reptilian's skull, sending the weight of Super Geon to the ground. Super Geon attempts to right himself but is instead forced into the ground when Gappa's full weight is bared down on his gut. Super Geon grows out his horn to the length of a sword and takes a swing a Gappa's legs, Gappa ascends in time to evade the point. Gappa climbs high only to land a few blocks away from Geon so that they might settle this like kaiju do. The two charge towards each other, leaving impressions in the pavement as they go. Super Geon grows out another horn to wield with his other hand. The two close the gap rapidly, and with a sword like weapon in both hand, Geon swings his weapon at Gappa. Gappa ducks below the first, yanks back from the next then, tries to defend himself from the third. The end result. Gappa is impaled through the hand with Geon’s horn. Gappa crackles in agony, but then pulls the horn out through his palm to wield it against Super Geon. The two combatants swing there swords to meet with a loud crack! Gappa rolls away a parry then steps forward to put a cut on the arm Geon used to hold his weapon. Geon clutched his bleeding arm, before throwing his head back to cry out in agony. The great Geon then forces himself forward, projecting a stream of searing flame to the ground, where it erupted into a great wave of fire. The wall of flames rolled over Gappa, leaving the triphibian lying on the ground, burning. Gappa cries in distress, its burning form ascending into the sky, towards the bay. The massive tbird-lizard fell to the churning waters below, trying to extinguish the flames ravaging its body.

Enferno: While many dragons have a strong kinship with the flame, they are still susceptible to burns, and burning. Very few have a magic protection from fire, while others like GTS Quetzalcoatl have a silicon barrier.

Tim: Speaking of GTS Quetzalcoatl, I believe she’s scheduled to fight you, Enferno! What are your thoughts on that.

Enferno: It’s just another match-up, Tim.

Tim: It looks as though the amphibious Super Geon is descending underwater after Gappa. It isn’t long before Super Geon spots the charred Gappa, and grows out his horn to toss like a harpoon. The speeding projectile bounces off of a rock mass beside Gappa, alerting Gappa of an oncoming foe. Gappa expels a beam of blue energy, boiling the water around it as it surged towards Super Geon. The beam struck the ground beneath the swimming leviathan, an explosion resulting in swarms of churning bubbles, and clouds of suit. Gappa stares intently into the silt in search of Geon. Suddenly a clubbed tail swung forth from the clouds of suit, striking Gappa, across the face, sending the creature reeling back. Gappa forced itself from the ground and began beating its wings to force itself back from the oncoming Geon.

AJ: Geon swimming looks like, some kind of serpent. A far contrast from his terrestrial form of locomotion. It’s almost like his skeleton collapsed, allowing for more fluent, serpentine movement.

Tim: Gappa fetches up a boulder and hurls it through the water towards Super Geon. Geon swings its body around full-circle, splitting the rock into fragments with tis tail, sending a new cloud of silt rushing to the surface. Super Geon then makes his advance towards Gappa. Gappa takes to an offensive defense tactic. This time the beam Gappa generates from his mouth meets dead center with Super Geon’s chest. Emerging from beneath the cloud of bubbles, Super Geon. Geon’s form drifted down to the ocean floor below. Gappa, detecting no signs of life from Geon, makes way to the surface. The monster’s head breaches the surface as Gappa makes way to sure. And as Gappa nears shallow water it stops,. Its head is yanked underwater,. And the water is then polluted by blood. The devious Super Geon then surfaces. Having faked his own death, Super Geon is now the victor and is advancing to Round 2.

AJ: Well we have the first winner of the game. And now Enferno is conducting his interview. Enferno?

Enferno: I’m back to my full height, and I’m here on the battlefield of Round 1 with Super Geon. So tell me Geon why are you super?
Super Geon: Well to be truthful, I wasn’t always this powerful. Long ago my only ability was my beam. After the first Monster War here on Earth I was mutated to my super form when an alien race called Famardy attacked. Luckily I had some help from a few other monsters, Atomic Guy and Cyber Woo. I guess Astro Guy, Rocky, and Beetle Mania didn’t survive.
Enferno: Oh but they were to be resurrected, to fight along side you in MWF. Was it good to see them again?
Super Geon: Well yes and no. We had all fought in the past, but not to kill each other. If you remember correctly we just pinned each other for three seconds. When Famardy attacked, we really cut loose. They were invaders upon our homes, so we shot to kill.

Enferno: So if you killed monsters like Huge Frogger and Beetle Master because you felt it was beyond friendly competition, why would you kill Gappa?
Super Geon: Who said this isn’t beyond friendly competition?
Enferno: Oh. [laughing]! I understand. So your in it to win!? Well good luck and thanks for the interview!
Super Geon: Any time. Maybe you could interview me again when I win the next round, eh?

Draconic Tournament 2:
Round 1, Match 2

Gryffin versus Ultrizard

AJ: Okay, our next match up is between Iguanoman’s Ultrizard, and a dragon called Gryffin. What kind of name is Gryffin, for a dragon?

Tim: It’s beyond me. I don’t know. What I do know is the location to be used for the next match.

AJ: And where’s that?

Tim: None other than Las Angeles, the spot light of Dragon Wars.

AJ: The Beta 19 has completed its work and the match-up is soon to begin. Gryffin makes his pearch atop of the Library Building (yes the Library Building, not the Liberty Building), the helipad crushed beneath the massive and evil dragon. And Ultrizard has just arrived on location, and he looks ready to brawl!

Tim: While Enferno, what can you tell us about Gryffin…

Enferno Well Tim, there’s a reason he has been defeated in the past. He doesn’t really have much of a fighting style. He’s pure brute strength. His tactics are clumbsy and obvious. I’d say smart money is on Ultrizard.

Tim: The bell ahs rang and the two take flight to clash in the air! Gryffin’s sleek movement allows him to slip behind Ultrizard and clutch onto the great green Iguana-like, dragon’s back. Having grappled Ultrizard from behind, Gryffin then digs his feral teeth into Ultrizard’s neck. Ultrizard lifts his tail, the four-pronged club striking Gryffin’s armored hide, forcing the creature to relinquish its grip. Ultrizard pivots in the air to face Gryffin, in time to spot a burning sphere sailing towards him. Ultrizard manages to evade the fireball, which instead decimates a building Gryffin persists his attack with a continued bombardment of the fireballs. Ultrizard does his best to avoid the projectiles, however in despite of his effort one brushes passed his arm, searing the flesh. Ultrizard grips his arm in pain, before another strikes his chest while he‘s distracted. Ultrizard falls to the ground, the building which he strikes is unable to withstand the collision and is lost in an enormous cloud of debris. Gryffin roars in his delite before turning from Ultrizard, blasting buildings to oblivion with his fireballs for the sheer pleasure of it.

Suddenly the smoke bellow clears a path for a beam of intense green energy, which sails into Gryffin’s hide, tossing sparks and smoke into the sky, while Gryffin himself enters a spiraling descent. The massive dragon collides with the pavement, sending chunks of concrete through the windows of cars and offices. Gryffin struggles to free himself from the pacement before noticing the weight of a sky scrapper coming towards him. Acting before thinking, Gryffin launches a trio of fire balls towards the collapsing structure, shattering most of its bulk. What remains of the building fell on top of Gryffin. The ancient dragon erupts from the rubble in an outburst of flames and seeks its foe. The great dragon surges through the sjy towards the hovering Ultrizard. The creature pounds the its fore limbs against Ultrizard’s hide, beating and battering the opposing dragon-like beast. Ultrizard struggles to stay airborne, but his efforts are all for not. The two great creatures fall to the ground, the behemoth Gryffin using Ultrizard to cushion his own fall. Having slammed Ultrizard into the pavement Gryffin again bites into Ultrizard’s neck, violently jerking his head in all directions. Ultrizard begins to charge the spikes on his tail with green energy. Gryffin slashes into Ultrizard’s back with its fore claws. Ultrizard swings his energy enhanced four-pronged club, sheering off Gryffin’s tail in explosive green light. Gryffin rears, on his hind legs roaring in pain. The bleeding Ultrizard sees his chance to flip around onto his back, and using the spikes along its arms, puts a gash onto Gryffin’s neck. Gryphin gags on its own blood but continues to fight. The great evil dragon throws a fist at Ultrizard. Ultrizard barely moves in time to avoid the blow. Knowing that he doesn’t have a lot of time left before dying of blood-loss or suffication, Gryffin makes an attempt to incinerate Ultrizard with his flame-breath, but instead finds that an uncontrolled and undirected jet stream of flame floods out of its wounds and nostrils, very little actually coming out his mouth. Ultrizard, now woozy and disorientated from blood-loss, tries to delivery a finishing blow, ramming the claws of both hands into Gryffin’s hide. It seems as though it won’t work, as Ultrizard can’t dig in through the muscle to reach the vitals. Then Ultrizard sends energy surging through his claws, allowing him to tear through Gryffin’s body with ease The lifeless corpse of Gryphin falls over to one side, before Ultrizard himself passes out.

AJ: Well I guess Enferno can’t interview the winner.

Draconic Tournament 2:
Round 1, Match 3

       VS
Magano                             Sinbad Dragon

,B>Tim: Tension is thick in the air as the two are teleported onto the battle ground, and what a battle ground it is. No buildings, no trees, no foliage of any kind. There is only stone. Magano wades through a dust storm, barely reaching his knees towards his foe. SInbad Dragon awaits the oncoming enemy with anticipation, his lips curled, exposing his teeth. As Magano nears Sinbad Dragon lifts onto his hind legs and pushes himself forward, bringing his weight crushing down on Magano. Furious clawed feet pound into a grounded Magano, weakening the opposing creature as Sinbad Dreagon makes an attempt to pin. However, Magano's shoulders never reach the ground. having forced an arm free MAgano goes onthe counter offnesive. Sinbad Dragon suffers an onslaught of blows to the skull, driving him into retreat into the maze of mountians and cliffs. Mammoth wingbeats signal the ascent of Magano, while a furious duststorm and thunderous footsteps mark Sinbad Dragon's route. The titanic Magano descends onto the opposing monster. Sensing Magano's approach, fire wells up within the maw of the Sinbad Dragon. As Magaon approached Taro turned, his maw widening, ushering forth a stream of flames as long as his body. The stream of flame strikes Magano directly, to no avail. Magano continues along his course unaltered to seize Sindbad Dragon by the horns. The great dragon thrashes and struggles against Magano but can't break the flying monster's grip on his horns. Magano twists and jerks in an effort to break Sinbad Dragon's neck but the alligator-like beast's resistance is too great. With a quick swing of his neck, Sinbad Dragon breaks Magano's grip on his horns and brings the red beast to the ground. Like a sparring Komodo dragon, the Sinbad Dragon rears onto his hind legs, his tail acting as a third leg. Magano arises just in time to take the massive reptiles assault head-on. The two look like sumo wrestlers, pushing each other, both fighting so that the other may succome to their weight. Thie Sidbad Dragon, pounds and scratches at crimson hide, while its jaws clamp down onto Magano's shoulder, but fails to penetrate its fortified skin.

Enferno: And what's a dragon without armor. A dragon's scales, escpecially those of King Ghidorah, are near impervious.

Tim: At long last Magano won out, heiving on Sinbad Dragon's chest, and rocking him over to his back. SInbad Dragon hurries to roll back to its feet, its spined back leaving grooves in the earth behind. Sinbad Draghon fights off dizziness mere seconds before the point of Magano's tail stuck into the earth in front of him. Sinbad Dragon soon realizes he's in trouble and barely evades the next swing of Magano's tail. The dragon evades the an entire barrage of tail attacks before attempting a head-butt, striking Magano in the back adn sending him to the ground. Magano rolls to his back and lifts his arms in defense as the great jaws of Sinbad Dragon come down on him. Magano cries out in agony as blod seaps between Sinbad Dragon's teeth, but the wounds aren't critical. The Sinbad Dragon then brings stomping feet down onto Magano's chest and stomach, its tail thrashing like mad, beating the solid stone earth into gravel. Magano spouts its lava beam from its maw, the beam of energy tearing into SInbad Dragon's hide, tipping the behemoth over the other direction, and leaving the creature with a raw spot its hide as proof of the attack. SInbad Dragon returns to its feet to charge Magano. Magano, however is the first to attack, striking Sinbad Dragon across the face, its claws leaving lines of blood against the beast's emerald hide. Then another blow to the creature's skull forces Sinbad Dragon too jerk its head back. Taro uses this to his advantage and swings his head, the broud side of his skull colliding with Magano's gut and forcing it backwards. Magano retaliates, a swing of his spiked tail leaving a cut across Sinbad Dragon's fore arm. The Sinbad Dragon again attacks with its flame breath, Magano barely protects his eyes in time before the wave of flame washed over him. Magano forced himself through the stream of flames to strike Sinbad Dragon's face directly, sending the creature stumbling back.

AJ: Sinbad Dragon pivots his body around and whacks Magano with his tail, sending Magano reeling backwards. To which the creature follows up with another head-butt to Magano's gut, tossing the oppoosing creature into a stone pillar, kciking up a dust storm. Sinbad Dragon makes an effort to finish the fight, projecting a stream of intense fire, melting the pillar Magano was forced to rest his back against.

Tim:Magano emerged from the flame, phoenix style, rising up in a tremendous rush of its wings. Magaon swoops down to tack Sinbad Dragon to the ground. This time to strike Sinbad Dragon's skull with his beam at point-blank range. This time the end result of the breath weapon is fatal. Magano wins.

Enferno: Once again, I'm large and in cahrge here with Magano... Tell me are you out to set a new record, as the first Created Kaiju to win a trophy in the WMW?
Magano: What kind of question is that. I wouldn't be here right now if I wasn't out to win!

Enferno: Is there any opponent who concerns you more so than any other?
Magano: I'm not concerned about any of them! I can beat Ultrizard and I could certainly beat you!

Enferno: My! My! Someone sounds confident! A bit too confident! You honestly think you can beat me!?
Magano: You just name the time and the place!

Enferno: Well we're not going to have time tonight after the tournament and I have a match-up with GTS Quetzalcoatl next week.
Magano: Excuses!

Tim: Just ask Magano how to make friends, you'll be an expert by the end of the day.

AJ: No kidding. Our next match up is between former Legendary Belt Champ, and the newest dragon on the block, the Celestrial Dragon from Dragon Wars!

Draconic Tournament 2:
Match 4, Round 1

Celestrial (D-War) Dragon                                 VS.                                       Drake

Enferno: It really is East meets West.

Tim: And what bettwer setting than an ancient oriental village. really makes me want to watch an old Kung-Fu movie! Wait! The dragons are entering the arena,a dn Drake looks not angry but awe-struck!

Drake: So you are a dragon of heaven! It's a great honor to meet you.

Celestrial Dragon: I've heard a great deal of you as well, Drake. You are a fine young dragon. May the greater dragon win!
Drake: You honor me sir. But it's no competiton. I'm sure you'll win.

Celestrial Dragon: You won't know until you try! I'm ready! Come at me!
Drake: As you wish!

Tim: And with that sound, Drake crouches in feline fashion, beofre pouncing into the air towards the D-War Dragon. Dragon seize the serpetnine beast's head bringing it down to collide with the ground. Drake inhales, preparing himself to use his fire lung (organ which enables fire breathing) before D-War Dragon escaped his grasp. But to his surprise the dragon doesn't need to. The tail of the Celestrial Dragon wraps around Drake's neck and forces his snout skyward, sending the fireball Drake launched into the distance, to strike a recreation of an age-old temple. The Celstrial Dragon then reaches up with its forelimbs to seize and toss Drake, sending the young dragon skidding across the ground. Drake rises to his feet before staring in awe as the D-War Dragon ascends without the use of wings. The levitating creature seems to just swim through the sky as if it were water. Drake could never dream of flight so smooth, so elegant. The mighty Dragon then landed onto a watch tower, the structure swaying from the creature's weight as if ready to collapse.

Celestrial Dragon: You'll need to do much better than that.

AJ: Drake doesn't respond to the elder dragon's words. He merely stares in amazement, until at last the Celestrial Dragon roars.

Celestrial Dragon: Move boy!

Tim: The elder dragon's voice forces Drake from his trance and the young dragon soars into battle. The mighty Celestrial Dragon slithers over thin air, away fromt he tower, while the clumsy Drake fials to turn in time. Drake's form smashes into the structure, tipping it over.

Celestrial Dragon: Your still wet behind the ears. Why don't you remind me how you defeated Gryffin!?

Tim: Drake taps into his ice lung (organ whcih allows dragons to use a freezing breath weapon) and from his maw propels his frozen breath towards D-War Dragon. The D-War Dragon bends his serpentine form to allow the attack to pass through his coils rather than actually evade the attack. Now it was his turn to stare.

Celestrial Dragon: Oh, yes. Now I remember.

AJ: Drake issues out a cry of war before taking ot the air to meet the greater dragon. Drake attacks with a jet of flames from his nostrils, but this comes no where close to hitting the D-War Dragon, who is far too quick. The great dragon literally flies circles around Drake. The great serpent then flies by Drake. At first it seems as though he merely brushes passed him,but then his hind leg strikes Drake in the torso, knocking the younger dragon to the ground. Drake sits up and tries to ignore pain to get into the air again. But then he notices that the Dragon isn't in front of him. He looks over his shoulder just as the D-War Dragon swooops down close to him, to reach down to bop him on the head with an open plamed attack. Drake snarls in anger as the D-War Dragon levitates within his field of vision, mocking him with loop-de-loops. The young dragon takes to the air, surging towards the D-War Dragon, tackling him to the ground and taking up his fore arm in his jaws. Drake soon finds himself enveloped in coils and soon realizes he's levitating off the ground with the Celestrial Dragon. The Celestrial Beast then turns over Drake and releases his coils then propels himself and Drake towards the ground. Drake takes the blunt of the impact, D-War Dragon used him to cushin his fall. The D-War Dragon then picks up Drake to push him to the ground again. The D-War Dragon then nips Drake in the chest and arms. Drake cries out in pain before huffing a blaze of fire from his nostrils at his oriental style foe. This time D-War Dragon is unable to escape in time, and gets away from Drake with a seared hide. The D-War Dragon tries to ascend to asess the situation from safety when a fireball meets with his carp-like scales, the resulting explosing sending him to the ground on onto an ancient palace. The wood and stone structure collapses beneath the dragon's weight, enveloping the rubble in a cloud of dust.

Tim: The Celestrial Being emerges from the rubble, soaring the air near the speed of sound to meet with Drake. The mighty Dragon pins Drake beneath his form...1...2... But Drake forces himself free with a puff of fire and flees the great serpent. Once Drake determines he's gotten a good distance away, turns to keep watch of his opponent. The D-War Dragon summons a ball of fire from his maw to send at Drake at high speed. Drake, allmost without thinking, launches a projectile of his own. The two intercept each other in a powerful explosion, rocking buldings off of their foundations, weak structures even collapsing. Drake attacks with two more such fireballs, each impacting on opposite sides of the D-War Dragon, throwing debris and dirt to pound against the serpent's form. The Celestrial Dragon throws himself from the ground, as if forcing himself into flight with a rage that wasn't present in the beginning of the match.

Enferno: It doesn't take a lot of imagination to figure out what happens when you make a dragon angry.

Tim: The Dragon if heaven rages through the sky towards Drake. Drake rears on his hind legs as if to catch the oncoming dragon. However he has no such luck, the D-War Dragon spears Drake in the gut with his snout, knocking Drake over on to his back. Drake attemtps to get back up when the Celestrial Dragon falls on top of him, forcing the air from Drakes lungs. The Celestrial Dragon pins...1...2...3...And The Celestrial Dragon wins for the first non-lethal victory of the day! The Celestrial Dragon releases Drake from his pin and helps him back to his feet. The two then shake hands before Enferno lands between the two.

Enferno: Good going boys! Dragons have always been civilized creatures, but few in human society ever figured that out.
Celestrial Dragon: Well he's still a young dragon, I'd thought I'd show him a thing or to, before I'd head out to the next round. He's got a lot to learn before he's ready to take on stronger opponenets, but he will be ready one day. After all, he's a dragon! All dragons are meant for great things!

Enferno: God yes! Finally, someone gets it!
Drake: I knew I never had a chance against a dragon from heaven. I always knew he wasn't trying to hurt me, alhtough there were some close calls. I guess combat is something I have to learn to get used to.

Enferno: Who knows, maybe one of these days you'll get your Legendary Belt back.
Drake: Well maybe when someone else manages to beat the D&D White Dragon. The only reason I beat Gryffin is because I could tap into my ice lung and he could not. I wouldn't have that advantage against him.

Enferno: Who knows. Maybe one day you'll discover a new ability no other dragon before you knew!

Tim: Thank you Enferno. Our next match up is the first match of round 2... Things should be interesting. The fight is between the legends of Kaiju Wrestling, Super Geon and Ultrizard. The two enter the arena, which the Beta 19 has now turned into a carbon copy of New York City! We had to hit this one sometime tonight!

AJ: The two enter the wing, but before the match begins a third kaiju enters!

Magano: Ultrizard you worthless piece of filth! Why should I wait for you to lose to this lame kaiju when I could finish you myslef.

Ultrizard: You just wiat Magano! I'll send you back to the KWF with your tail between your legs!

Magano: I'd love to see you try, Iguana brain!

Super Geon: Hey guys! I'm in the ring too!

Magano: I'll beat you so fast you won't know what hit you, only you will know because I just told you!

Ultrizard: Did you come up with that insult just for me!? Oh how thoughtful. You must have been up all night working on it!

Super Geon: Come on guys! I'm here too! Oh forget it!

Draconic Tournament 2:
Round 2, Match 1

Super Geon                                          Magano                                          Ultrizard

Tim: The two stand on opposite ends of Broadway. Ultrizard and Magano staring at each other in despise.

AJ: Alright! I’ve had it!

-AJ hit the intercom button.-

AJ: What did Ultrizard do anyway?

Magano: He did something you should never ever do to someone! He called me his rip-off!

Tim: Well I must admit the resemblance is uncanny. I mean they both have shoulder spikes, wings and tail ornaments.

AJ: Well that lizard has green scales and that other lizard has green scales, so that lizard must be ripping off that lizard.

Super Geon: Does anyone remember when this show was about giant monsters fighting each other?

Ultrizard: For once Super Geon is right! No more talk! Let us fight!

Tim: And with that Ultrizard hurls himself towards Magano, tackling him to the ground. He then leaps from Magano, further down the street, then turns around to bat Magano with his tail as he stood to fight. The force of the blow sent Magano flying backwards to collide back first into a sky-scraper, leaving a considerable dent! Super Geon then immediately steps in to take Magano’s place, wielding his horn like a sword. Super Geon swings his weapon, Ultrizard lifts his arm in defense, using his retractable elbow spikes to deflect the sword. Super Geon tries to swing his sword again, but the time it took to recuperate from the recoil of the first blow to swing a second time proved insufficient. Ultrizard’s fist plowed into Geon’s gut, forcing the creature to bend over in pain. Ultrizard then turned used his clubbed tail to strike Geon’s lowered skull, knocking him to the pavement. But Ultrizard isn’t the only one with a handy-tail. Super Geon’s clubbed tail hooked around Ultrizard’s ankle and Geon pulled his weight out from under him. Then with reflexes previously thought impossible, Geon sat up and hurled a discarded horn to the sky scraper above, bringing a bombardment of rubble crumbling down on top of Ultrizard.

AJ: Super Geon stood, looking down on to the buried form of Ultrizard. Fire welled up within Geon as he prepared to finish of Ultrizard, when a beam of energy struck Geon himself in the back. Geon remained standing in despite of Magano’s lava beam but an armored hide alone wouldn’t provide adequate defense for Magano’s next attack. Magano pushed Geon from behind, down onto the mound of rubble which concealed Ultrizard within. He then took Super Geon by the tail, hurling him towards the building that had already survived an impact. This time the building falls as Geon is forced through face-first only to meet with another building. Magano then took a semi truck in each hand and hurled them to each sky scraper on both sides of Geon, bringing rubble on top of Geon and burying him beneath a mound twice as big as Ultrizard’s.

Suddenly from behind Magano there is a flash of green light. An instant later an explosion occurs. Fragmented rubble is propelled through the air in every direction at the speed of bullets. Ultrizard had freed himself.

Tim: As if reading the other’s mind Magano turns to fire his lava beam as Ultrizard fires his green heat ray. Ultrizard’s breath weapon passes by Magano, merely searing his shoulder, while Magano’s beam scores a hit upon Ultrizard’s right arm, tossing sparks into the air. Ultrizard’s four-pronged tail scoops up a cluster of pavement then flings it at Magano. Magano’s chest is battered with the projectiles but Magano pays no head. He instead focuses on redirecting his beam to Ultrizard’s chest. Ultrizard does the same, but as he makes an effort to redirect the beam the two streams of energy crossed each other. The resulting explosion tossed both combatants to the ground.

Ultrizard lie his stomach, trying to recuperate from both, Magano’s assault and the duration of his own oral beam. Suddenly a black shadow is cast over him, and giant wing beats command his attention. Ultrizard looks up to find a flying Magano descending on him. Ultrizard lifts his arm, just in time to deflect the barb at the tip of Magano’s tail with the broad side of his elbow spike. As the hovering Magano draws his tail back for a second strike Ultrizard sees his opening. Ultrizard takes a hold of Magano’s tail, and rams the barb through a wall of a building, then back out the same wall, like threading a needle. He then uses the barbed tip to stab into Magano’s tail, tying the beast to the structure. Magano roars in agony. Ultrizard hovers to meet his foe in the air, to kick out. Magano is sent flying backwards, but his tail snags, and Magano is brought down to the ground with additional force. Magano heaves at his tail, pulling large chunks of concrete from the building to free his tail Magano snarls in rage as he examined the barb at the tip of his tail, reddened in his own blood.. Magano threw his form from the ground and onto Ultrizard. Magano brings Ultrizard to the ground, but makes no attempt to pin. He instead brought furious fists pounding onto Ultrizard’s head, forcing blood from his maw and nostrils. Ultrizard lifts his arm in defense, tricking Magano into dicing his own hand on Ultrizard’s elbow spikes. Magano clutches his wounded hand and roars in pain. He tosses himself into the air, roaring as he ascended, as if to let all know of his agony. He then dived down to meet Ultrizard, unaware that Ultrizard had flown up to that altitude to meet him. The two clash skulls, and both fall to the ground simultaneously. Both are unconscious. The winner is Super Geon.

Super Geon (After poking his head out of the rubble): I cleared Round two without doing a thing!

Tim: Not only that, we’ve skipped the semi-finals. All that remains is the Final Round! Your up against the D-War Dragon!

[Super Geon wasn’t removed from the arena. He merely watched at the technological wonder that was the Beta 19 at work. He witnessed skyscrapers melting away into lush grass lands, the Empire State Building expand into a tree covered hill side. He took a step forward, watching as his foot tore apart the terrain. This reminded him that he shouldn’t be alive. There was no room for him in nature, anything around him was condemned to destruction. But had the humans been so different? They destroyed grasslands and forests to make room for putrid factories and roads. It was this rage Super Geon sought to harness for the fight ahead. But his opponent wasn’t in the arena. Not yet]

[Descending from the sky above came a glorious serpent. The creature levitated, the ground beneath it unaffected. Geon envied the creature, a gargantuan like himself, yet able to transcend the realm of mortals without damaging the foliage, without disturbing the land. It almost didn’t feel right to attack it.]

[Suddenly a thin white beam of light struck the ground before Geon. Forcing itself free from the top soil came a disgusting creature. A Bagan Clone, like Bagan only lacking in bulk and armor. A Hyper-Bagan. A clone that traded speed of over stamina. Geon roared in challenge, and extended a hand in hatred. He took hold of the creature’s nasal horn, the turned to toss the monster. However the monster did not budge. Geon turned to face a snarling saurian. The beast with astounding speed unleashed a barrage of blows. A string of punches each only a twentieth of a second apart from the other. Somehow during this assault Geon could see four more beasts emerging from the ground around the Celestrial Dragon.]

[The great dragon ascended, beyond the reach of the Bagan Clones, different from the first to appear. They were Armor-Bagan. Beasts that trade speed and projectile power for stamina and sheer physical strength. The beasts attempt to attack D-War Dragon, trying to bring him down with thin gray eye beams. The D-War Dragon easily evades the projectiles, before retaliating with own of his own. A burning sphere tore free of the dragon’s maw, roaring through the air an a collision course with a Bagan-Clone. The fire ball collides with Armor-Bagan’s only weak point, the inside of its mouth. The fire spreads from its point of impact, incinerating flesh to cinders. After the projectile took its full affect, all that remained of the creature was a charred carapace.]

Tim: Those guys need some help!

AJ: But how do we fight something so speedy as Hyper-Bagan?

Tim: Simple! We call in the kings of speed! Light-Speed Mothra and Megaguirus!

Tim:AJ: That’s great, but what do we do about the Armored-Bagan?

Tim: They’re resistant to energy attacks, so we’ll call in the kings of physical attack! King Kong . Sanda, and Ultraman Narashi.

AJ: Ultraman grabs a Bagan-Clone and takes off with him, tossing him back to the ground from a high altitude, leaving a massive crater in the synthetic Earth. Armored-Bagan frees himself from rubble to direct his eye-=beams towards Ultraman. Ultraman brings up a rebound shield to send the attack back towards Armored-Bagan, but the beams refract off of its carapace to strike Sanda.

Kong pounds his chest in challenge at two of the clones. The two seems unafraid and go on the attack, their eye lasers searing Kong’s flesh and scorching his fur. Kong bares the attack and surges towards the two, fists pounding against their armored hides. One takes the chance to bite Kong’s flesh. Kong howls in pain, tossing aside the beast he was pounding to focus his efforts on the creature that has its teeth dug into his flesh. King Kong pries his foe’s jaws free, but doesn’t stop there. He forces the jaws apart until they break. The creature struggles to breath, blood pouring from its jaws, and grapples with Kong. It proves to be a contest of strength which the Bagan Clone can’t win. Kong hurls the beast to its back then rams a mass of dirt down its throat. Kong then leaves the Armored-Bagan to suffocate as he goes on to aid Sanda. Sanda forces the form of a Bagan clone off of him. He then stands to fight again. The Bagan clone surges towards Sanda, only to suffer a kick to the chest. The Bagan Clone is forced back, but this does not discourage him. The creature charged forward, goring Sanda with its horns. Kong arrives just in time to save Sanda’s life, grabbing the beast by the shoulders and tossing it from his ally. The monster is soon back on its feet and ready to fight again when the form of its brethren falls on top of it, courtesy of Ultraman. Ultraman lands next to Kong and fires his spectrum ray, only for the beam to pounce off of the creature’s hide. Kong pelts the two with clods of earth. Ultraman fires another spectrum ray, this time directly in front of the struggling monsters. The resulting explosion tossing debris and rubble into the air, to collide with the armored beasts. The two return to their feet and charge one towards Ultraman, the other towards Kong. Ultraman and Kong exchange glances, Ultraman using his telekinesis to suggest a game plan. Kong seems to agree. As the Bagan creatures come within striking distance, Ultraman and Kong sidestep the beasts and seize them from behind. The two then lift their catch and push the two into each other, forcing the Bagan clones to bang heads. The horns of each Bagan clone piece the others armor, killing them both.

-Suddenly fifteen Baltan warriors enter the arena.-

Tim: Get Sanda and Megaguirus out of there! They’re no good to them now!

-Suddenly CyberGodzilla, Robo-Yeti, The Cyber Fly Swarm, Shrewster and Red King all enter the arena.-

Tim: CyberGodzilla! What do you want!

CyberGodzilla: Luckily for you, I’m on your side for once!

AJ: Hey! The Cyber Fly Swarm is mind controlling Shrewster and Red King!

CyberGodzilla: Yeah, yeah! We’re also controlling, C-Rex and Yonggary. Look could you guys just leave this to the “GTS Mechs”!

Tim: CyberGodzilla crouches low to the ground, charging his proton missiles from the launchers on his dorsal plates. The Baltan all summon force shields an instant before CyberGodzilla fired, all but one. A single bolt of energy struck one of the Baltan, tearing off his arm, the others defended themselves with their shields. The Baltan then surged, like an ocean wave onto the “GTS Mechs.” As two approached Shrewster they were suddenly alarmed as the rodent concealed itself within a massive tornado. The two are unimpressed and each sends a blast of white energy into the twister. The force of the explosion forces the tornado to dissipate and tosses the overgrown shrew to the ground.

Robo-Yeti soon finds himself grappling with one of the many Baltan, his armor beginning to buckle beneath the stress. Robo-Yeti thinks up a new tactic and his metal teeth find their place in Baltan’s carapace. The insect-like alien jumps back from his foe, tearing himself free from the grapple. He then sheds his wounds with his old skin, emerging good as new. The mighty Baltan motions to Robo-Yeti to attack, when a point emerges from his chest, opposite of the sharp objects point of entry. It proves to be a horn, Super Geon had stabbed the alien from behind. The Baltan sank to the ground, dead, and the two sought another foe.

Mind-controlled Red King bellows in challenge to the oncoming Baltan, one which ahd already been injured from CyberGodzilla’s energy blast, missing its arm. The injured Baltan, with its remaining arm, swung for Red King, pounding against his side until at last red King catches the pincer. With a single heave of hisarms Red King tears the remaining arm out at its shoulder.

The Cyber Fly Swarm targets one of the Baltan and moves in to overwhelm the Baltan with its immense numbers. However as the swarm approaches, the Baltan takes notice, projecting a white beam into the swarm, and wiping out a group of twenty.

Shrewster leaps towards a Baltan, only to be deflected from a roudhouse kick.

Super Geon charges a Baltan but instead finds himself held by the neck. The Baltan then tosses Super Geon aside, before Robo-Yeti’s fist met with the insect like creature’s gut. After hobbling over in pain, Robo-Yeti brought both fists down on to Baltan’s back, lying the creature out flat on the ground.

The D-War Dragon, tossed a Baltan to the ground, then incinerated it with a fire ball as it stood to fight again.

AJ: twin Baltan gang-up on Mothra, attempting to bring her down with their beam weapons. However, nun successfully reach Mothra due to her energy reflective scales she released. An instant later both Baltan met their end from bolts of wing-lightning. Then as quickly as the Baltan appeared, they vanished. CyberGodzilla and his squad then follow, and then finally Kong and the others.

Tim: That’s an odd tactic. Make your presence known then run away.

AJ: Don’t worry Tim. That’s not the last we’ll be seeing of them.

Tim: Well now that that’s over we can actually get back to the match. Super Geon looks to Celestrial Dragon, then lies down and taps out. The D-War Dragon wins the championship!

AJ: He didn’t even have to fight for it!

Tim: He’s the winner all the same! The Beta 19 turns the arena into a winner’s circle for the award ceremony.

[Last year's winner, Kaiser Ghidorah arrives to present the trophy himself.]

Kaiser Ghidorah: Congrats! You've earned this.

Enferno: what are your thoughts on winning?

Celestrial Dragon: Well there wasn't really much competion. Drake's a nice youing dragon. I don't feel as though I've earned this. I don't feel like I've done much fighting. It's a great honor, to win the second Draconic Tournamnent. Not exavtly a mile stone like winning the first ever award, but it's still nice. And above all I'd like to thank Super Geon for this!

Tim: Well I think, that's about all the time we've got. The Draconic Tournament will return next may, in which the dragon line-up will be:

Togera
Raptros
Dodongo
Hydorah
Enferno
GMK Ghidorah
Des Ghidorah
Dagarah

Tim: It's looking to be an incredible line-up! But be here next week when Enferno takes on GTS Quetzalcoatl, Bagan initiates the new guys, Krystalaak and Obsidius. Guiron then takes on Jiger. And then it's Nessie versus Megalon for the Basic Belt. And then we close things up The Giant Claw versus The Deadly Mantis! Be here next week.

AJ: See ya!
