Episode #27

.

Tim: It’s time for a new episode of Fatal Friday Fights! First off the Legendary Belt match. The defender: the third boss from the video-game, “Shadow of the Colossus” and he has a HUGE sword, it’s the Colossi known as ‘Knight’. The challenger: a great winged demon, Garuda!

G13: Let’s get the show on the road!

AJ: The arena is filled with water with a giant plateau in the center and mammoth, jagged rocks around the outer edge.

Matt Kong: Woo! Hoo! Yeah, Knight, kick Garuda’s tail feathers!

Legendary Belt Match

VS
Third Colossus (Knight)                        Garuda

Tim: The two enter the ring. Knight and Garuda stare each other down in the center of the plateau. Garuda makes the first move, thrusting a clawed hand forward. A bit hasty, the colossus moves its bulk out of the way of the attack and punches Garuda square in the face, knocking the great bird backwards. Looking to end the match quickly, Garuda takes to the air and delivers a series of kicks to Knight’s chest, slowly inching him back to the edge of the circular rock formation. The colossus is a bit smarter than that and jabs Garuda in the gut with his sword, repelling the bird away. In its furry, Garuda soars past Knight, raking its claws across Knight’s unprotected shoulder, not only bringing upon a fountain of black blood from the resulting gashes, but nearly sends Knight over the side of the mountain.

Matt Kong: And he would’ve fallen had he not driven his sword into the ground for support. Way to go dude!

G13: He’s smart enough to pull this off but he can’t scratch his head when he’s got a guy on top of him?

AJ: The Colossus pulls himself back up to firm ground and immediately goes for the center again. I guess he’s not too confidant in his abilities to swim. After reaching the center of the plateau, he is knocked to the ground with a giant rock to the back of the head, causing him to topple over. Slowly he picks himself up and finds Garuda coming in for him! Swinging his massive sword, he sends a broken Garuda to the ground, one of its wing mangled and broken. Looking over the shattered form of Garuda, the colossus hangs its sword over Garuda, preparing to crush its skull. Suddenly Dagarah shows up and tips the colossus over with his purple, oral blast. Angered, the colossus pulls itself off of the ground and scoops up a clump of earth from the ground. With that the colossus hurls the material at Dagarah. Dagarah easily blasts the rocky material out of existence before its shoulder spikes spread apart. Dagarah, then bombards Knight with Barums but the mutated star fish fail to get through Knights armor chest plate. The colossus begins to assess the situation when a wave of fire lights its back aflame. The colossus pivots around to find the three-headed space demon, Des Ghidorah.

Tim: Hmm… Both were monsters that aided King of Mons. I have a good idea who’s behind all of this. Now the Monera Monster is on the seen. We can’t let them get away with this and I know just the guy to help us with the Monera Monster.

[Tim flips a switch revealing a computer monitor. On the monitor is a select screen. Scrolling down through the list of monsters Tim finds the Death Facer and double clicks its icon. Moments later a mammoth space ship appeared in the “sky”.]

Tim: Death Facer can handle this guy! Ultraman Dyna would not have won had it not been for him!

[The phone rings. Tim picks up to find Ultraman on the phone.]

Dyna: That’s not true! *Angrily slams the phone down on the receiver as he hangs up.*

Tim: Anyway. Death Facer goes in to kill Monera Monster as he charges the all powerful Neo-Maximum cannon. All three sinister kaiju scatter as the Death Facer fires its massive out burst of yellow energy. The beam spreads a n explosion across the plateau, The Third Colossus and Garuda barely escape destruction. As the aerial monsters wage war in the sky Colossus sets off to do what he had intended to at the beginning of the match, kill Garuda. Knight was sure that if he could find Garuda he could deal the final blow and keep his belt title. But it was Garuda who found him first. The winged monster easily ran circles around the colossus before finally leaping onto the dark entity’s back. Holding tightly onto the neck of the colossus, Garuda kicked the dark entity in the back, sending him over the cliff side and into the water. Now if Garuda can live long enough for the twenty-second count he can win, but that looks like its not going to be easy, because beams and bullets are flying everywhere. Honestly, three on one, I didn’t think Death Facer would last this long…5...6...7... The Death Facer swoops down towards the plateau, transforming into its humanoid form in mid air, the momentum still acting upon it, Death Facer slid across the plateau on his feet as he fired his chain gun at the three evil beings…11...12...13... Garuda jumps to one side, barely evading an energy blast from Des Ghidorah..17..18...19...20! Garuda is our new champ. As Death Facer comes to a stop he boldly begins to charge the Neo-Maximum cannon in its chest. Knowing good and well what that weapon is capable of all three evil kaiju focus their fire power on it, a red energy ball from Monera Monster actually sizzles down the barrel of the incredibly powerful gun, triggering a massive explosion that incinerates the Death Facer, Garuda and Dagarah.

AJ: At least they don’t have the technology to revive Dagarah and even if they cloned him it would be five times weaker than the original.

G13: Fortunate we are indeed.

Des Ghidorah: KOM’s gonna’ be ticked about this. We were only supposed to screw up the match, not get one of our own killed.

Monera Monster: Whatever. King of Mons knows there’s always more monsters craving power that will follow him. Let’s just get out of here in case another good guy shows up.

[With that the kaiju exit the arena.]

Tim: Hmm… I wonder how they teleport in and out of here?

AJ: That was intense!

Matt Kong: I don’t believe Knight lost! To a bird no less!

G13: It’s okay to feel upset some times.

Matt Kong: I advise you to stop now.

G13: Alright.

Tim: And our next stop on our tour of just how ferocious any big monster can be is Komodo vs. Cobra.

G13: That lame movie they show every once in a while on the Sci-Fi channel?

Tim: Nope! The match up held here, tonight! We’ve taken two of those critters off their island, fought off that crazy, lizard guy from the end of the movie and blew them up to fifty meters! Amazing! The government supposedly bombed the living daylights out of that island, twice! And both times the foliage, the structures, the monsters, and that guy covered in Komodo saliva were all in tact! This is where our tax dollars are going people! A bunch of jets that can’t even level an island right and funding for experiments on animals.

AJ:Tim: They aired the info on the news, twice and they still kept that place running!

AJ: TTIIIIMMM!!!! Enough already! We know the movies were lousy but can we please get to the match now!?

       VS
Giant Komodo                                              Giant Cobra

G13: That big snake is slithering through the random city when it is opposed by a battalion of tanks. Each of the war machines fires, but the shells simply bounce off of the serpents armored hide. The creature lashed out with its whip-like tail, sending the entire battalion sliding across the pavement and into a department building. Suddenly its heat sensors brought something to its attention. A massive heat source was coming for it. Suddenly a titanic, quadruped reptile forced its own form through the department building at the serpent. Its jaws hanging open, the Komodo’s durable tongue surged forth, grappling the snake by the neck. With a crack of its tail, the great cobra severed the Komodo’s tongue, sending the lizard reeling back in pain, blood pouring from the stump. Angered at his foe, the great reptile threw itself around, using its tail to knock the snake for a loop. The monster cobra was sent rolling and thrashing down the street, its head crashing through building walls and its serpentine form tossing cars into the air.

Tim: Once the Cobra manages to regain control of its body it goes into its striking “S” pose. The great komodo dragon tears up the pavement as it surges towards the Cobra. To the Komodo’s surprise, the Cobra throws itself off of the ground and onto Komodo that the lizard tips over backwards, the snake coiled around its body, crushing its rib cage. After pinning the great lizard to the ground, the Cobra tried to sink its fangs into the flesh of the Komodo’s neck, its efforts fruitless. Struggling for air, even the brainless Komodo knows it needs to get out of this situation. Its jaws hanging open, it allowed its saliva to drip down onto Cobra’s skin, its acidic content slowly burning its skin away. Hissing in agony, the Cobra beat Komodo across the face with its tail before going on the retreat. With its quick movement the Cobra easily disappears from the Komodo’s field of vision, the great lizard vainly running after the snake. As the komodo rounds a corner, he passes right past the Cobra coiled around a building. Quickly learning of his mistake, the komodo brings himself to a stop. He managed to force its bulk around just in time to take ruble to the face. As Komodo smacks debris away from his face, Cobra drops down onto the roof of a shorter building. The Komodo surveyed the sky scrapers, unable to find his foe anywhere. In its rage it charged for the building it had seen Cobra on and rammed right through it. As it passed through the structure, leaving it to collapse behind it, Cobra threw itself from the sky scraper it had chosen, tearing up the roof in the process. The great serpent thrust its form onto Komodo, crushing it in its coils, biting in an attempt to get at its vitals and cracking its tail down on Komodo’s nearly impervious hide. Komodo shrugged off the attack and took Cobra’s skull into its mouth, pulling Cobra’s coils loose, before holding him still as he stomped on the serpent’s throat. With outstanding speed, Komodo released his grip to kick Cobra in the face. Before the snake could react Komodo took its head back into its jaws. The great reptile swung Cobra into the side of a sky scraper, its thrashing form went limp. Then Komodo tossed Cobra with such force that it was sent crashing through a building and into another. Eager to admire his own work, the reptile walked through the hole, Cobra’s body formed in the sky scraper, slapping the base of the building as he it passed, letting the structure collapse behind it. Komodo then pulled itself onto the pile of rubble Cobra was now under and threw its heads skyward as it cried out in triumph. Suddenly Cobra’s head forced itself out of the rubble, taking the chance to punch his fangs into Komodo’s lower jaw, all the way down to the skin. In shock Komodo lashed out with its forelimbs, leaving five gashes in the raw section burned in by Komodo’s acid spit. Cobra howled in agony and hissed in ferocity, leaving his only vulnerable spot exposed. Komodo leaped onto Cobra, ramming its feet into Cobra’s gaping maw, its reddened claws peaking out of the back of Cobra’s neck. Komodo pulled its claws back allowing blood to escape the wound as Cobra’s lifeless form lie motionless on the ground.

AJ: And our first ever Genetic Belt Champ is the Giant Komodo Dragon!

Matt Kong: Heads up! Baltan and Mephilas coming.

Tim: Yeah and they’re keeping the Xilian transport ship from beaming in Giant Komodo.

Baltan: He’ll do. Just wait a little longer for the viper’s venom to take its effect.

Komodo: No!

G13: Komodo lunges for Baltan, who takes a quick jump backwards and Mephilas knocks him over with an energy blast from his forelimb.

Baltan: Look here, you idiotic lizard, we don’t even want you alive, so this can go anyway you want it.

Komodo: I want you dead!

Tim: The Komodo leaps at Baltan, swinging its heavy tail at Baltan. Baltan only repels the big lizard with a blast of white energy, sending him sliding across the pavement. As he tries to get up, Mephilas hits him dead on in the side of the face with an energy blast, Killing the great reptile. Mephilas teleports the giant Cobra out of the arena and Baltan takes off with the Komodo. What do they want with a pair of dead kaiju?

Matt Kong: Who knows about these villain types. Anyway, it’s my turn to run the show so let’s see what I got. My matches tonight, the matches that five times more original than Tim’s.

Tim: What!!?

Matt Kong: Face it, after your drop out from the monster wrestling world, you’ve lost your edge. Or maybe you’ve been here to long. You know, a blade used too often becomes dull.

Tim: Fine! You just run the show for the rest of this week’s episode! Let’s see how much the fans like it when I’m not around!

Matt Kong: They come for the kaiju, not for the host!

[Tim begins to violently pound the desk.]

Tim: I’m going to digest my emotions, but I’ll be back next week!

[Tim walks out.]

AJ: *Sigh* I’d better go make sure he doesn’t hurt himself.

G13: Tim? Crazy? And in an alien space ship !? I’ve got to see this! Hey MK, video tape those matches for me. I’m headed out early.

Matt Kong: Well, they’re all gone. I didn’t mean what I said to Tim, I just wanted to get a little more room for the coming guest hosts I invited, but I didn’t think I’d chase off the whole lot of ’em. Yes, I went British for a second. Anyway, once my guests get here we’ll get on with the show.

*Part II coming soon.*
