Episode #18

Full Results:

Tim: Hello and welcome to another addition of the WMW’s Fatal Friday Fights, where the monsters are fierce and the battles are Earth shatteringly destructive! Today we have some great match ups! But before we can get to those we have Jet Jaguar fighting King Cobra!

AJ: And for the second time on this show, our guest Alex, will be helping us with announcing theses matches.

Alex: Hey everybody!

Snake versus Robot

VS
King Cobra                        Jet Jaguar

Tim: The combatants are sent into the cityscape of randomly placed buildings. That’s right we got tired of naming off cities. Jet Jaguar is clearly visible in the park he’s in but King Cobra’s serpentine form is hidden amongst the tall structures. JJ isn’t worried, he can fly! After reaching a high enough altitude, he begins to search the area with his spot-light eyes. After spotting a reptilian tail sink behind a row of buildings, JJ lands in the intersection he had seen his foe. He then takes off down the street King Cobra had disappeared to. No! You stupid robot you’re about to step in a glob of… Never mind. JJ just stepped in some of KC’s adhesive venom, now he’s glued to the ground.

AJ: Can you say, “Sucker!”? JJ should know better.

Alex: This guy’s smart enough to rewire himself, but he can’t even check the ground in front of him! How does that make sense!?

Tim: JJ struggles to free his foot, jerking himself left and right like mad. A metallic screech is released from Jet Jaguar, in his rage. This in return, is answered by a shrill hissing from behind him. Panicked, he begins yanking his leg, trying so hard to escape. He soon finds himself ensnared and crushed in tangled, serpentine coils. Then, Jet Jaguar finally gets a good idea and doubles in size from fifty meters to a hundred. His restraints can no longer hold him, he rips his leg free of the venom and King Cobra drops down from the mechanical titan. King Cobra takes up his striking pose which allows, the now tremendous, Jet Jaguar to score a direct kick to KC’s face. The serpent is blown down the street from JJ’s blow. Jet Jaguar then shrinks back down to fifty meters. King Cobra again takes up his striking pose, extending his hood out as he lifts his head into the air. The serpent then launches a stream of venom at JJ. The robot only shrinks down to thirty meters, allowing the projectile to pass right over him. Jet Jaguar thrusts his body at his foe, body slamming the snake in its exposed underside. The serpent is sent backwards crashing into a building, just as JJ had expected. What JJ didn’t expect was for the snake’s tail to lash out, slapping him to his back.

Alex: He sure likes to change size.

AJ: Hey, the dude’s got to take advantage of his only power. He seems to be trying to out-whit King Cobra. I’ll bet he’ll win this. He’s got to be smarter than that stupid snake.

Tim: Both combatants are back in action. JJ returns to fifty meters as King Cobra comes surging at him. Jet Jaguar doesn’t make an attempt to evade the attack. He instead charges at the serpent at full speed. After tackling the serpent to the ground, the robot grips King Cobra by the back of the head and takes off into the sky, the snake in tow. King Cobra thrashes his form about but is unable to break free. Jet Jaguar lets go but he soon realizes he has a problem: the mutated snake as wrapped its coils around his legs. Jet Jaguar makes an attempt to loosen his grip by punching the coils. When the robot draws his arm back he finds King Cobra with fangs sunk into his armor. The snake then pulls his body up to his head before putting all the pressure he can on Jet Jaguar’s arm. With all his body weight coiled on JJ’s arm the robot is imbalanced and thrown out of whack. Jet Jaguar sways back and forth before slamming through the spire of a building sending both monsters in the direction of the ground. The two crash into the ground two blocks away from each other. Jet Jaguar checks himself for damage and finds his arm crushed. After standing JJ finds his adversary has disappeared again. He begins to search the city for King Cobra but doesn’t get far when King Cobra shoots venom at him off to the right. Jet Jaguar, having been in this situation , grows to enormous size to break free of the venom. Before he knows what hit him, KC throws himself off of a building onto JJ. He then wraps his coils around the same arm he had earlier and squeezes until the weight and pressure he applies to JJ’s arm causes King Cobra and the weakened limb to fall off at the elbow. His mission a success, King Cobra retreats from the mechanized colossus. Before the snake can escape Jet Jaguar does the stupidest thing anyone could do… He steps on KC’s tail! King Cobra manages to slip free and slither away. King Cobra tries to sneak around Jet Jaguar. However, JJ spots him as he passes between two buildings. With an idea of what his enemy’s planning, JJ shrinks back to fifty meters and fetches up a semi-truck. King Cobra gets behind JJ and takes up a striking pose. With out standing speed, Jet Jaguar hurls himself around and chucks the truck down KC’s throat. King Cobra takes awhile to dislodge the vehicle but by this time it was too late for him. Jet Jaguar tackled the serpent to the ground and wrapped his hand around King Cobra’s jaws. The two engage in a wild struggle, kicking, shaking and thrashing. With his serpentine form, KC has a distinctive advantage. He crushes every area of JJ body his body could slip under. King Cobra finally slips his head free from JJ and unhinges his jaws in attempt to swallow his foe. Jet Jaguar, thinking fast, shoves the stump of his arm into KC’s mouth, electrocuting the snake. King Cobra’s body spasms uncontrollably. JJ takes advantage of this. He tears free of KC’s coils. Then, while the great serpent is stunned, grabs King Cobra before fling him around and tosses him into a sky scraper, revealing the frame of the building as he bounces off.

AJ: Take that you…you… you loser!

Alex: Man, you must really hate King Cobra.

Tim: No. It’s not that. It’s just that Jet Jaguar’s his favorite.

AJ: Yeah! And he’s finally won! King Cobra is down and out!

Tim: Alright. Now that that’s out of the way, next is a tag team match up between the “GTS Mechs” and Gabara and his new partner, Red King.

"GTS Mechs" vs. Gabara & Red King

        VS
Gabara & Red King                                      Cyber Godzilla and the Cyber Fly Swarm

Alex: The monsters are warped into a rocky clearing surrounded by forest.

Tim: Instantly the Cyber Flies swarm over Gabara’s body and begin to inject tranquilizing chemicals in to his blood.

At that time Cyber Godzilla tries to finish the match early with an attempt at torching Red King with his breath weapon. However, Red King lifts a tremendous boulder in defense, shielding his body from the attack. After a while the rock begins to melt, and a drop of molten rock drops to Red King’s foot. After shaking the burning material off, the ruler of the Monster Lawless Zone decides its time to fight back. He hurls his shield forward. The boulder tears through the stream of blue fire before colliding into the mutated iguana‘s face, sending the cyborg crashing to the ground.

Gabara swats at the mechanized insects with little success. Until he finally comes up with a good idea. He puts his hands of his hips and sends an electric current through his arms. This leaves many a Cyber Fly disabled.

Cyber Fly: Hey, Cyber Fraudzilla, we’re having a little problem. Want to switch?

Cyber Godzilla: I’m game.

AJ: The remaining Cyber Flies begin to attach themselves to Red King’s body and Cyber Godzilla charges Gabara. Before the cyborg has a chance Gabara slugs him across the face. CG takes this to his advantage, whipping Gabara’s chest with his tail as he turns around. Gabara is shaken from the attack, but soon regains his stability before trying to head butt CG with his horned head. Gabara’s agile foe easily evades the attack. It’s not long before Gabara notices this himself, doubles back and dizzily swings at the cyborg.

Alex: I guess those drugs the Cyber Flies put in him are taking their toll on the poor oaf.

Tim: And speaking of the Cyber Flies, the mechs are giving Red King a lot of trouble. The reptilian beast manages to swat one or two of the frenzied flying robots occasionally but the Cyber Flies don’t back down. The each try to find a place on the lizard’s body to stick to amongst the number of robotic insects. Red King reaches to his chest and crushes a large number of the Cyber Flies beneath his hand. The insects make an attempt to get out of reach by moving to Red King’s back. Red King gets an idea and throws himself to the ground, crushing many of the Cyber Flies between his own body and the ground. Only a small number of fourteen escape. The Cyber Flies flee and Red King engages in chase. The Cyber Flies soon return, towing a boulder in a combined effort. The mechs then launch the mass of rock at their reptilian foe. The dinosaur only catches the projectile and sends it back at the Cyber Flies. The machines scatter. One of the mechs is not so fortunate, the hurtling rock shatters its form, sending scrap metal flying everywhere.

Gabara comes rushing at Cyber Godzilla. CG only blows a ball of blue flames into Gabara’s face as he nears. The creature instinctively raises its arm in defense but stays on a collision course with Cyber Godzilla. Cyber G easily evades Gabara’s blind rush. Following this, the mutated iguana pivots around, in order to send his tail colliding into Gabara’s back sending him face first to the ground. An insulting cry escapes from CG’s jaws. Gabara, in a desperate act of self preservation, kicks out, spearing Cyber G in the gut with his foot. CG cripples back from the blow and doubles over in pain. Gabara quickly rolls over and kicks CG again, this time in its lowered jaw. A rouge Cyber Fly then pierces the back of Gabara’s neck. While his foe is distracted Cyber Godzilla sends a stream of blue flames to strike Gabara in the gut. While he’s suffering Cyber Godzilla rises from the ground. Then, with his mechanized hand, picks up a rock and beats Gabara over the head with it, knocking him unconscious. The rouge Cyber Fly then takes the opportunity to plant a mind control device on Gabara.

It then becomes evident that the rouge is the only Cyber Fly remaining as Red King swats down the last of the frenzied insecticide mechs. Get ready for the final battle, because this tag team match up just turned into a one on one! Red King doesn’t wait for CG to make the opening move. He instead charges the cyborg at full speed. He then goes into a furry of wild blows, striking the cyborg across the face, in the gut and to the side in such consistency and rapid action that CG had almost no time to fight back. Red King gets a nasty surprise when CG suddenly shifts his body and a blow to the side turns into a blow to a dorsal fin, tricking Red King into cutting his own hand. Red King clenches his wounded appendage, crying out in agony. Enraged at the opposing monster Red King kicks the iguana to the ground. CG quickly staggers to his feet and flees from his foe, putting some distance between them before preparing an energy discharge from its dorsal fin cannons. Red King fetches up a boulder and both monsters simultaneously launch their projectiles. The projectiles meet half way, sending rocky debris flying in every direction. Red King is lucky enough, none of the scattering rock fragments hit him. But CG is knocked unconscious. Weird. I was sure Cyber Godzilla’s team would win. Oh well.

Alex: Next is a fan suggested match up: Super Train Megazord versus Heisei Gamera versus Heisei King Ghidorah! And here with us is the man who suggested it, Announcer Bot 3000!

AB3K: Hey!

Tim: Getting crowded in here.

AJ: You think?

Tim: Oh I know. Well the monsters have been warped into the reconstructed cityscape and the fight begins.

Turtle versus Robot versus Space Dragon

       VS             VS
Gamera                 Super Train Megazord                         King Ghidorah

AB3K: The lumbering, bulky mech comes stumbling down an avenue. Gamera flies into his view and he begins to fire missiles from his shoulder. Gamera is quick enough to evade the projectiles, but the same cannot be said for Super Train Megazord when Gamera returns fire with one of his own. The mech falls to the ground in a shower of sparks from the force in Gamera’s plasma fire ball. King Ghidorah joins the fight, slamming his feet into Gamera’s shell and sending him on top of Super Train Megazord. With its great strength the mech forces Gamera off and gets to its feet. King Ghidorah unleashes a storm of gravity rays upon the mech but this time it braces itself, using its heavy arms to anchor itself to the ground. Once the bombardment ceases, Super Train Megazord quickly sends Ghidorah ground ward with a turbine blast. The golden dragon crawls out of its crater to find that a volley of missiles is headed his way. Ghidorah, thinking fast, uses his gravity rays to detonate the missiles in mid-flight, their freezing out bursts ice up buildings and cars. By this time Gamera is up and uses his elbow spike on the mech’s back. Sparks fly but other than that, no noticeable damage has been dealt to the machine. Super Train Megazord turns around to meet his attacker eye to eye but instead receives a punch to the face. The mechanized warrior stumbles backwards. The machine then socks Gamera in the chest after recovering from the previous attack. Gamera grunts from the blow before scoring one of his own on the mech. While those two are going at it Ghidorah’s creeping up behind ST Megazord. As Super Train Megazord and Gamera grapple the hydra gets ready to wrap its tails around the mech. The mech struggles against the dragon’s grappling tails while Gamera punches away at Super Train’s chest. Once he decides his opponent has taken enough damage from Gamera, King Ghidorah pivots around and sends both opponents to the ground with hurricane force winds. Gamera goes into saucer form to fight against the gust but the mech is sent sliding down the street to slam through the base of a building, bringing the entire weight of the structure down on him

Tim: This leads Gamera and Ghidorah to forget all about him and engage in a dog fight. Ghidorah is plagued by Gamera’s buzz-saw-like form, forcing him to ascend and descend at the last minute in order to avoid the turtle. In addition to this, Ghidorah’s opponent is too quick for the monster to hit with his gravity rays. If he tries to fire directly at Gamera, it ends up behind him and if he fires in front of Gamera the turtle either ducks down beneath it or flies above it. This pattern doesn’t end until the, slower than Gamera in the air, Ghidorah is shot down from two missiles. Super Train Megazord returns with a vengeance, slamming his foot into the dragon he had downed various time. The mech then pulls off the same move as Godzilla from the Showa series, grabbing his enemy’s tails, thrusting him into the air and then slamming him into the ground. He then swings Ghidorah around and slams him into a sky scraper. Gamera comes diving down in his saucer form, slamming his shell into the Megazord’s side, sending him to the ground and forcing him to release King Ghidorah. Gamera pulls out of the shell as Ghidorah gets to its feet and the two daikaiju face off. Gamera uses the last of his reserved plasma energy to send a pair of fire balls to explode against Ghidorah’s body. But Ghidorah’s no wimp, his body is built to take a beating. Ghidorah sends a gravity ray at Gamera, injuring the turtle. The downed mech takes advantage of the smoke cover and gets up but manages only to end up in between the two kaiju and takes a beating from both of them. Gamera bashes his fist into the mech, sending him stumbling into Ghidorah’s chest. Ghidorah thrusts his body forward, sending the mech’s limp body back at Gamera. Gamera sends it back at Ghidorah but this time Super Train Megazord extends its arm and pushes against Ghidorah, using the hydra to regain his balance. He then back hands Gamera across the face, breaking off his right tusk. Gamera stumbles back before catching what’s left of his falling tusk. Gamera proceeds to imbed the tusk into ST Megazord’s side. He tries to pull it out, but his efforts are disrupted when Ghidorah uses all three heads to bite into the mech’s arm before King Ghidorah tosses him aside. Ghidorah pulls STM out of the way just in time to see Gamera coming at him with his retractable elbow spike. Gamera’s weapon digs into Ghidorah’s side, staining his golden scales with a crimson liquid. Ghidorah’s side heads dig both sets of jaws into both of Gamera’s shoulders, seconds after wards a green liquid squeezes out between Ghidorah’s teeth. The persistent robot returns, pounding its metallic fists into Ghidorah’s back, sending it falling down onto Gamera. Ghidorah rips away from Gamera. He then flaps his great wings to send the mech to the ground with a powerful gust. This time instead of ignoring the robot to fight with Gamera it comes after Super Train Megazord. As it draws near to its foe Ghidorah blasts away at the mech with its gravity rays. After reaching the robot Ghidorah picks it up in its jaws and tosses it into a building. Ghidorah then attempts to chase after Super Train Megazord but as he draws to the half way point Super Train Megazord is up and kicking, sending his full arsenal Ghidorah’s way. Ghidorah takes to the air before the projectiles reach him but even though he avoided the attack the shock from the explosion beneath him brings him back down. King Ghidorah does his best to get up before his enemy is back on him, but he comes up short. Super Train Megazord grabs a hold of his right neck and flips him over his shoulder. The multi-headed beast gives off a hail storm of energy in mid flight, causing Super Train Megazord to drop to the ground before he does himself. Both monsters get up. As fast as his mechanical joints can move, STM pulls out Gamera’s tusk and comes at Ghidorah, brandishing the over-sized tooth like a dagger. The mech comes charging at the hydra, digging the Atlantis guardian’s tusk into Ghidorah’s chest. Ghidorah’s three heads all bite into Super Train Megazord’s armor, lifts him up and throws him into the air. As he falls Ghidorah sends gravity ray after ray colliding into him. The force of the assault is so intense it actually pushes the mech further through the air until he rams straight through a sky scraper to land face down! In seconds a flying Ghidorah digs his talons into Super Train’s armor. The great space dragon then began to ascend until he reached such a height that even the resting Gamera looked small before releasing his grip on the robot. The mech slams into the park JJ had started out in during the match earlier today, leaving only a crater. Ghidorah lands to find his enemy’s limbs scattered across the area. All that remains of the Super Train Megazord is half a torso an d his head. Ghidorah takes the opportunity to pin…1...2...3 Ghidorah then rips off STM’s head and tosses it through a building. He roars in triumph until he notices the yellow glowing from behind. He turns around just in time to see Gamera’s chest open up but by then it’s too late! The guardian of Atlantis or Mu or whatever fires his Mana blast, eliminating Ghidorah.

AB3K: I was so sure that Super Train Megazord would win.

Tim: He may be a good fighter but Ghidorah’s just too well resistant. I mean, it takes a lot to beat that guy.

AJ: Next Ultraman and Zone Fighter are taking on a collection of their old foes, check it out!

Ultraman and Zone Fighter versus 4 Old Foes

       VS
Ultraman and Zone Fighter                                                                                          Bemler, Wagilar, Zetton and Spyler

Tim: The same arena is rebuilt and Ultraman and Zone Fighter start out in the same park Jet Jaguar started out in. Bemler, Zetton, Spyler and Wagilar line up in the street ahead of the park and stand to oppose the heroes.

Alex: Those weak monsters are going down!

AJ: The bell rings and Zone Fighter leaps at Bemler, but Zetton uses an energy blast from his hands to blow him back. Bemler and Wagilar look to take advantage of Zone Fighter’s fall as both send their breath weapons at the downed hero. Before the projectiles have a chance to hurt ZF, Ultraman jumps in the way and summons his bounce-back shield, redirecting both attacks back at Spyler. The, now badly hurt, Spyler makes a mad dash at the pair of heroes with his large, mechanical claws. Zone Fighter leaps off the ground. Ultraman grabs his ally’s hands and begin to twirls him around and around before releasing him, sending his partner flying towards Spyler. Then, Zone Fighter kicks off of Spyler’s chest, using his opponent to bounce off of back into the sky before landing on his feet, which is more than can be said for Spyler who topples over to his back. Ultraman tries to finish Bemler early with an Ultra-disc. Even Zetton knows he can’t win on his own. Z-Ton teleports in front of his partner and brings up his own shield. After shattering Ultraman’s projectile in his shield Zetton lowers his defensive energy and fires his red energy balls from his eye. He sends enough energy our heroes’ way that both of their fighting stance are broken, Zone Fighter and Ultraman go down. Two more monsters add on to the assault: Bemler with his heat ray and Wagilar with cannon discharge. Everyone is shooting past Spyler who’s using the flashing lights on his chest to blind the duo.

Spyler: How long do we have to keep this up?

Zetton: Until Ultraman’s timer runs out. Not even Zone Fighter alone is a match for our combined might!

Ultraman: So that’s your plan? Well give it up! It won’t work!

Zetton: We’ll see.

AJ: Ultraman blindly brings up a shield, catching one attack only to be put back down by another. Through ZF’s blury vision he catches Bemler sending an energy stream at him. Zone Fighter jumps aside, avoiding Bemler’s beam only to be put back down by Zetton’s. Just then Spyler tires and the flashing light comes to a stop. Ultraman takes the chance to blast Spyler to pieces with a specium ray.

Zetton: Get them!

Tim: And with an order from Zetton Wagilar and Bemler charge! Bemler tackles Zone Fighter to the ground and they begin to roll, wrestle and tussle. Wagilar fires a cannon discharge at Ultraman who returns it with a shield sending it detonating in front of Wagilar. The terror beast cuts through the smoke and body slams Ultraman to his back. He tries to step on Ultraman’s timer but Ultraman catches his foot and twists his ankle before tossing him back. Ultraman rolls over up right on one knee and fires the specium ray. Wagilar jumps out of the way and Zetton teleports in order to avoid the stray shot. Wagilar smacks Ultraman in the face, sending him back down. Wagilar jumps on Ultraman and starts beating him across the face again and again.

Zetton: The timer! Go for his timer!

Tim: Wagilar tries to bring his arm hammering down on Ultraman’s timer but Ultraman rolls over, slamming Wagilar’s head into the ground.

Bemler ends up on top of ZF and tries to get his face at point blank with his heat ray but Zone Fighter hangs his head to one side, allowing Bemler’s beam to scorch the ground. ZF then kicks out sending Bemler to his back.

Both Ultraman and Wagilar are back up. Wagilar charges at Ultraman but the warrior of light leaps over the monster before twisting around, kicking him in the back and sending him face down in the dirt. Zetton sends Ultraman toppling over with his beam giving Wagilar a chance to pin. Before Robo-Ref can start the countdown Ultraman forces his legs free and kicks Wagilar sending him flying to land on Zetton.

All the while Bemler swings his tail at Zone Fighter who ducks down and kicks him in the side, toppling the beast over. Bemler has a lot of trouble getting up with those tiny arms but Zone Fighter seems patient and waits for the pathetic monster to get to its feet. Bemler comes rushing at ZF who only reaches out and rings his neck before he pulls him close.

Zone Fighter: I’ll give you one chance to surrender now.

Bemler: Sorry pal. Not my call!

AJ: And with that Bemler uses his tiny arms to slash across ZF’s chest, sending sparks flying. Zone Fighter rips free and jumps back before kicking Bemler in the chest, sending him to the ground and rolling onto Wagilar with Zetton pinned beneath the two. Zetton, with his out standing strength pushes both evil kaiju back to their feet and kicks them towards the heroes. But the heroes aren’t shaken, Ultraman destroys Wagilar with his specium ray and Zone Fighter destroys Bemler with his Meteor Proton Beam.

Zetton: I’ll finish both of you myself!

Tim: Following his warning Zetton teleports ending up behind the two heroes and sends them both to the ground with a mighty kick. Both heroes rise in a matter if seconds only to find their foe missing again. Zetton teleports behind Zone Fighter, a mass of rubble in his hand. The “space dinosaur” then beats Zone Fighter over the head with his non-conventional weapon, sending the hero to the ground. Before Ultraman can do anything Zetton ends up behind him and body slams him down onto Zone Fighter. He then bombards the duo with yellow energy balls. The two heroes roll apart just in time to avoid Zetton’s hand beam. Zone Fighter gets up and comes at Zetton with a punch. The alien monster catches his adversary’s fist and throws him to the ground. Zone Fighter is up pretty soon. Zone Fighter dashes off at high speed, but not even he is quick enough to beat Zetton’s ability to teleport. Zetton ends up behind Zone Fighter but ZF is still to quick to hit with a projectile. While he’s blasting away at ZF Ultraman sneaks behind him and kicks him in the back, sending Z-Ton to the ground. Zetton teleports again but this time Ultraman is expecting it and back flips over the space monster before grabbing his hand and flipping him over his shoulder. Zetton gets back up only to have chains of energy dropped down on him from above by Ultraman, a tactic the first Ultraman used against Zetton to keep him away from the Science Patrol HQ! Zetton breaks the binding energy just as easily as he did the first time, but what’s different this timeis the addition of Zone Fighter who bombards Zetton with his Meteor Missile Might! Ultraman fires his specium ray but Zetton catches it in his shield. Zetton launches his own beam but Ultraman redirects the attack back at him. Zetton is thrown to the ground from his own attack and both heroes finish him with their respective signature moves.

Alex: That was fun! They didn’t have a chance!

AB3K: Thanks for having me over.

AJ: This was interesting.

Tim: Oh! Shoot! Look at the time! I have to get packed! Wish me luck at G-Fest! I won’t be available to talk with until Monday or Tuesday. Hopefully G13 will join me next week. Bye!
