AJ:Now for round one: Green Dragon Zord vs. Orochi, the Eight Forked Serpent of Koshi

Draconic Match

       VS
Green Dragon Zord                        Orochi

AJ: Ah. Hawaii, the perfect place for any vacation. Hey Tim, you think some time after this episode we can recreate this location and go in for a stay at the resort?

Tim: AJ, that’s brilliant! Any way, the arena is half ocean and half land with a hotel in the jungle, over looking the ocean and further inland from this, a dormant volcano.

AJ: How can there be a volcano. There’s no volcanic core in the snow globe? It’s not like Earth.

Tim: AJ, its just a big hole filled with magma, that’s why its dormant. Well actually I guess it’s extinct. Actually it was never active…. Oh forget it! There’s a volcano and that’s final!

Orochi is warped behind the hotel and twin glowing, red eyes deep beneath the waves become visible. Orochi cries out, declaring his dominance. The Dragon Zord surfaces and answers Orochi’s roar with his own. The lights attached to Dragon Zord’s chest plate blink, signifying an attack. The mech fires a volley of ten missiles. Orochi counters with a massive out burst of electrical energy from each head. The attack not only detonates the incoming missiles before they have a chance to reach Orochi, but also knocks Dragon Zord back into the ocean, lying on his back. Orochi topples the resort in order to advance towards his downed foe. In the combined effort of three heads, Orochi tosses a hunk of rubble towards the ocean to crash into Green Dragon Zord. As the projectile approaches the Dragon Zord’s drill tail shoots out the water and breaks the rubble into countless, smaller, harmless pieces. Dragon Zord manages to get to its feet before chucking a rock into one of Orochi’s gaping mouths. He then charges forward. The choking head squeezes until the rock shatter before it and three other heads unleash a bombardment of red lightning. Before long Dragon Zord finds himself on the ground. Dragon Zord’s on board computer is hard at work coming up with a new combat strategy. It then uses its drill tail to shovel up and hurl clouds of sand in Orochi’s eyes, temporarily blinding the dragon. Green Dragon Zord gets to its feet and hurls itself at its adversary, thrusting its drill tail into Orochi’s chest. Orochi, being an immortal, does not die. It instead digs its teeth into the armor of the Dragon Zords tail before turning around and releasing, sending Dragon Zord on a collision course with the side of the volcano. The force of the impact stirs up a mammoth cloud of dust. After a moment an entire swarm of missiles come screaming out of the smoke. Orochi braces himself, curling his serpentine necks into a mass of coils. The missiles impact their targets dead on. The result is a series of explosions that send Orochi sliding back to the beach. The mechanical behemoth steps into view, roaring. The mech then fires a second wave of ten missiles. Orochi uses his mammoth armored tail in defense. Once the attack is over he lowers his tail and immediately fires twin streams of electricity at the mechs feet, forcing the robot to the ground, once more.

AJ: I thought you said that the Green Dragon Zord was combat efficient. So far all its done has gotten kicked around.

Tim: The Dragon Zord is back up and making a mad dash towards his adversary. Orochi doesn’t seem impressed or frightened. Orochi only allows eight streams of flames to escape from its gaping maws. The heat from the fire is of such intensity that its entire stash of missiles detonate while still in its arms. The blow leaves the mech without its hands and arms. The now, red hot Dragon Zord burst out of the flames and dips its super-heated drill into Orochi’s flesh. Even immortal, that has to hurt!

Dragon Zord: You know how to make the pain stop. Tap out!

Orochi: I don’t think so!

AJ: Orochi then rips free before sending Dragon Zord to the ground with a powerful tail whip. He then dips his teeth into Dragon Zord’s neck and tail and lifts him helplessly into the air. He then delivers a series of bites to the Dragon Zord’s armor until the heat becomes more than what Orochi is willing to bare. He hurls the mechanized dragon back into the side of the volcano. This time, with out its arms, it is unable to get up. The Eight Forked Serpent of Koshi then advances to the downed mech. He then begins to ruthlessly stomp on the mech’s armored side, sending sparks flying from the artificial beast. He stops only to pick up and bash the zord repeatedly into the side of the volcano. But he’s not being very smart. After a while a hole is punched in the rock wall, releasing a tidal wave of lava, drowning out both kaiju from sight as it rushes to the ocean. A cloud of steam rises as the molten rock comes in contact with the cool water. The smoke clears and the only thing in sight is an ocean of semi-liquid rock covering a half of the island. The kaiju are buried alive, no movement is detected and the clock is ticking….1.…2.…3.…4 Orochi has surfaced, but Green Dragon Zord only has four seconds left….7...8...9...10. Disabled or functional the Dragon Zord has lost!

Draconic Match

       VS
Kaiser Ghidorah                                      Saphira

Tim: Universal Studios Theme Park, Orlando, Florida. Perhaps one of the most famous theme parks the world over. We now have a recreation of both this park and the Islands of Adventure side by side. Kaiser Ghidorah is warped in front of “The Hulk” and destroys the roller coaster on arrival. Saphira is warped in to take roost on top of “Jurassic Park: the Ride”, her fifty meter form crushing the structure beneath her.

The bell rings and Saphira instantly takes to the air while Ghidorah blows a gift shop to pieces with a gravity ray. Saphira isn’t impressed. She rises above him using her glittery, feathered wings, and rains a torrent of flames down on the space dragon. The heat from the flames causes a tram’s gas tank to detonate. Saphira brings her attack to halt and over looks the sea of burning buildings. Suddenly Kaiser Ghidorah bursts out of the flames in a golden blur. The hydra digs its teeth into Saphira’s left, front leg and tosses her through a burning building. Saphira pulls herself free of the ruble only to be strangled as Kaiser Ghidorah’s twin tails rap around her neck and tightens. Kaiser swings Saphira’s body like a club and slams her into the pavement. Saphira, desperate to get free, begins to tear chunks of flesh off of Kaiser Ghidorah’s tails with her claws and teeth. Kaiser howls in agony as he releases his grip. Saphira takes the opportunity to climb onto his back and gnaw at his flesh. Kaiser Ghidorah rears up on his hind legs, tossing Saphira to her back. The sapphire dragon takes to the sky before Kaiser Ghidorah takes off in chase. The space dragon sends gravity ray after gravity ray in an attempt to blow Saphira out of the sky. Occasionally Saphira would return fire with a stream of flames. The chase takes them over the roller coaster known as “The Dueling Dragons”. Suddenly Saphira turns around and comes flying straight at the space dragon. Ghidorah unleashes a trio of gravity rays at his foe but Saphira flips up side down in order to evade the attack. She then passes underneath of her opponent, scraping her talons against Ghidorah’s under belly as she passes. Kaiser is sent spiraling down ward to crash into the roller coaster. Its not long before Kaiser’s on his feet again only to be tackled to the ground by Saphira Saphira proceeds to pound her downed foe but her plans are foiled as Kaiser Ghidorah hurls her across the arena with his gravity rays.

Kaiser Ghidorah: That’s it! I’ll tear you apart!

Saphira: Alright! Let’s see you try!

AJ: We all know Ghidorah does not back away from a challenge. Ghidorah charges forward in an attempt to body slam Saphira. As he nears Saphira side steps, allowing Kaiser Ghidorah to pass by before using her tail to hook around Ghidorah’s hind leg and yank it out from under him, tipping him to his side. Saphira bathes her downed foe in flames. She gets a surprise when Kaiser Ghidorah thrusts his hind leg through the flames and delivers a heavy blow to Saphira’s face, sending her sailing through the air in the opposite direction. Saphira is soon back on her feet. She’s got streaks of blood across one side of her face from Ghidorah’s clawed feet, but she can still fight. Ghidorah comes flying at her for another slam, but once more Saphira side steps and clothes lines Ghidorah with her tail, the force of which sends both combatants to the ground. Saphira is the first one up. With astounding speed she tackles Ghidorah and proceeds to rip the wing membranes of his right wing to tatters. Kaiser Ghidorah manages to score a kick to Saphira’s gut, sending her to the ground.

Kaiser Ghidorah: So this is the new Legendary Belt holder! You’re so pathetic! You don’t deserve any title at all and I’m going to see to it you don’t get the new one!

AJ: While Kaiser Ghidorah is ranting Saphira seizes the opportunity to send her arrow-head tail tip into Ghidorah’s chest. Shocked, Kaiser Ghidorah winces back, revealing the deep wound Saphira had inflicted. Ghidorah cries out in hatred, as if a warning as to what Ghidorah intends to do to the Sapphire dragon. While he’s roaring Saphira goes wild, pouncing on the Kaiser before tearing of his left head in her snapping jaws. She then proceeds to shake her head back and forth, thus beating the center head across the face with Kaiser Ghidorah’s dismembered head. The left head tries to assist the center head, the inside of its gaping maw glowing with gold energy as it prepares a gravity ray. Saphira has other plans, however and back hands the left head, forcing it to fire in the wrong direction. But by shaking her head so much Saphira has become dizzy and staggers back. Kaiser is quick to take advantage, blasting her with a bombardment of gravity rays, leaving her on her back, badly burned. Kaiser Ghidorah begins to advance but before he can deliver the lethal blow the sapphire dragon taps out.

Tim: Our winner is Kaiser Ghidorah. As if we didn’t see that coming. Well we need to give the Xillians enough time to heal Ghidorah, so we’ll be back shortly.

Draconic Final Match

       VS
Kaiser Ghidorah                                      Orochi

AJ: Tokyo, a shining city and one of the largest on Earth. This now famous city has been the battle ground of many kaiju wars and it will again, now!

The legendary Eight Forked Serpent of Koshi, Orochi appears in the arena, awaiting his foe. His wait is not a long one as Ghidorah is beamed down seconds later. The two hydra issue savage cries of war before they both unleash powerful out bursts of energy as things turn into an all-out war. The smoke clears and both multi-headed beasts charge. Kaiser Ghidorah tries to bite Orochi, but the opposing dragon takes advantage of having five more heads than Ghidorah. Each time Ghidorah tries to bite a head, another of Orochi’s heads bites Ghidorah’s neck, until all of Ghidorah’s heads are being detained. Orochi then tosses his foe, sending him smashing through a sky-scraper. Orochi stands and watches, waiting for his enemy until Ghidorah’s gravity rays seize control of his body and return the favor. Orochi unleashes streams of electrical energy from his eyes and mouths in Ghidorah’s direction. Ghidorah takes to the sky in order to avoid the attack. Smart move, because, that blast just took out a full city block. Ghidorah lands before unleashing a bombardment of golden energy upon Orochi. The Eight Headed Dragon doesn’t like the idea. Enraged, the hydra uses his red lightning to tip over a sky scraper, which then crashes onto a second sky scraper, bring their combined weight down on the space dragon.

Orochi: Dead yet?!

[In an out burst of golden energy Ghidorah frees himself.]

Kaiser Ghidorah: Not even close!

Tim: Following this statement Ghidorah sends a trio of gravity rays in Orochi’s direction. Each beam scores a direct hit, each erupting into showers of sparks as they crackle against Orochi’s form. The force of the blasts send Orochi to his back. Kaiser Ghidorah tackles the beast, going for a pin. The match isn’t over yet, Orochi kicks out, sending his enemy backwards. After several minutes of ridiculous squirming, Orochi manages to get to his feet. His enemies already two steps ahead. Kaiser Ghidorah grabs him with his gravity rays and drags the dragon through a row of three buildings.

Kaiser Ghidorah: Dead yet?

Orochi: Don’t be a fool! A god can’t die!

Kaiser Ghidorah: When I’m through with you, you’re going to wish you could!

Tim: And with that warning Kaiser Ghidorah bites into Orochi and begins to draw in energy. With Orochi being immortal, and Ghidorah’s power equals a never ending power supply for Ghidorah! Knowing that his enemy is becoming more powerful, Orochi rakes his claws across Kaiser’s chest, leaving several lines of blood as proof of the assault. Kaiser winces back two blocks before sending twin, super-powered, gravity rays at the street in front of Orochi, creating an explosion of such magnitude that the force sends Orochi across the arena to smack into the side of the Snow Globe.

Orochi: Whoa!

Tim: Orochi pulls himself together and heads in the direction of Kaiser, only now he doesn’t know his location. Kaiser has disappeared somewhere in the city. Orochi cries out, daring his enemy to face him. Suddenly Ghidorah drops out of the sky, his feet slamming into Orochi’s spine. He then pites into the back of three of Orochi’s necks and draws out more energy. With out warning Orochi flips himself over, crushing Ghidorah between the pavement and his own body. Orochi rolls off before beating the golden monster repeatedly with his tremendous, spiked tail. Kaiser Ghidorah soon gets sick of being beaten and uses his gravity rays to lift Orochi over a sky scraper before releasing him. When it recovered Kaiser was once again missing. When Kaiser returned he had half of Tokyo Tower in tow. Using his serpentine tails to grapple the hydra, Kaiser flips Orochi to his back before ramming Tokyo Tower through his stomach down into the ground. With his opponent unable to move Kaiser pins…1...2...3 That’s it! We have our Draconic Champion!

AJ: Well that’s all for now! See ya’ next week!

Tim: For those of you who don’t like to wait, good news! I will be updating a day early next week. I’m going out of town Friday as I will be attending G-Fest XIV!
