Ladies, Gentlemen, and Kaiju fans, welcome to the second ever World Monster Wrestling Winter Wham! In all actuality we were suppose to have these little Seasonal event things every season, but Summer Squash and Fall Fallout unfortunately had to be canceled. However, we have decided to once again start doing them, and so here is the winter season event! OK, so it's a week late, but its still winter, close enough! But first I have to give a little explanation for why WMW has not occurred for so long. Back in May of 2001, there was a match between Gojira and Spacegodzilla. Spacegodzilla requested that the match will take place before Tuesday Terror, so that he could "prepare" something special. We taped this match early so that Spacegodzilla could do what he wanted to do: cover Fight Island with crystals and turn "Ouch Tower" into some sort of focus of power. However, something disastrous occurred in that match, and so, for the first time, here is the match that happened:

And now it is time for the Japanese Title match! As you can see Spacegodzilla has gotten here a little early so that he could turn the area into the crystal battlefield he wanted. After signaling that he was done, Gojira is brought in and this match gets under way! Gojira starts off by charging at Spacegodzilla, and even though he is blasted with corona beams in the process, he gets right in Space G's face to start pounding away on him! He slashes him a couple of times, does a quick bite, and then turns around to tail whip Space G in the chest! The crystals scattered across the area start to glow, energy rains down from the top of "Ouch Tower", and electrical currents start to surround Gojira! Gojira is lifted into the air, and is chucked via telekinesis into a nearby building! Gojira gets back up, dusts off, and proceeds to blast Space G with his thermonuclear breath! Space G gets his shield up in time, and the powerful beam just bounces right off! The shock of Gojira is offset only by an actual shock of more corona beams! Spacegodzilla then picks up some of his crystals and has then rain down on Gojira! After being slammed into a few times, Gojira decides to grab one of the crystals in mid air and hurls it at Space G, smacking him in the head! Gojira then sends out some thermonuclear breath before Space G can react, and he is blasted backwards by the ultra-powerful heat beam! Somehow Space G manages to stay standing, and he remains standing until Gojira walks into the center of "Ring Park". Space G then roars something, and according to our computers he just said the equivalent of "All right, it's time, get him!". Now what on Earth could he mean by… what the heck!? Suddenly popping out of the ground and latching onto Gojira is the one and only Biollante!? What is she doing here? Well she is Spacegodzilla's tag team partner, and it seems as if hiding her was one of his "preparations"! She grabs onto Gojira with her vines and proceeds to blast him with her acid beam! Gojira tries to get free, but to no avail until he is charged up to use his thermonuclear breath again! The beam slams into Biollante reacting with her in a really painful way, but she still manages to replace the vines with some more, latching onto Gojira with acid-spitting mouth vines and impaling him with thorny ones! Gojira rips some vines away in a struggle, but once again he can't manage to get free! He is really getting hurt badly by Biollante's acidic sap attacks, but Gojira does have one move that Biollante can't stand against. After another powerful thermonuclear blast to Biollante, her acid ball explodes, her body fizzes with painful reactions, and she slumps over. Gojira rips himself free from the tangled mess, and turns his attention to Spacegodzilla.

However, it seems as if Biollante was nothing more then a distraction. While Gojira was fighting with her, Spacegodzilla was charging up some sort of very powerful… something. Forming in his chest is a kind of brilliant white sphere of some kind, and as Gojira turns to face Space G, the sphere ignites in a brilliant flash! Suddenly, dirt, grass, trees, cars, and buildings are dragged towards the sphere! If I'm not mistaken, this is the ultra-rare physics anomaly known as a White Hole! Everything around Spacegodzilla is being dragged into it and blasted out with amazing speed and force! Gojira is blasted by a stream of charged particles, and gets knocked into the accretion disk! Gojira is being sucked into the White Hole! Gojira tries to grab the ground to stop his advance, but he keeps spinning around Spacegodzilla and his "hole", getting closer and closer! Suddenly "Ouch Tower" collapses due to the forces and starts to get sucked in to! For every bit of mass that collects in that "hole", it gets more and more powerful, and so Gojira starts to get closer and closer faster and faster! Suddenly Gojira's spines glow orange, his mouth starts to vent heat, and a massive spiral beam shoots out of his mouth and hits Spacegodzilla! The force of the blast sends Gojira out of the disk, where he proceeds to turn tail and run as fast as he can away! Due to the forces surrounding him, Spacegodzilla didn't even budge, however he has collected a lot of mass in the process of formation, and since "Ouch Tower" and his crystals have collapsed into the void, he no longer has the power to sustain the increasingly powerful "hole"! He seems to be trying to stop the thing, but he doesn't have enough energy to do that either, and the "hole" becomes unstable! Oh my gosh, it's gonna blow! Uh-oh. Well, good bye everybody!

And the effects of that disaster where devastating. Fight Island was reduced to an underwater crater. All of the equipment and buildings we had in the area where destroyed, including the Beta 13, which would have restored everything if it wasn't destroyed. By some miracle, no WMW employees were killed. This is probably due to our great evacuation procedures, but casualties in injuries where quite common, and this included even me. The subsequent title wave that was produced washed the anouncers' booth away, and seawater swept throughout the underground tunnels and on back to the ocean. I was personally found about two miles out clinging to what was left of my desk. Both Biollante and Spacegodzilla where completely disintegrated, but Gojira got far enough away to survive. In order to build the stuff on Fight Island in the first place we needed the help of a lot of money and a group of entrepreneurs on Planet X. The XWF (planet-X Monster Wrestling), a division of WMW, was doing so well without the Earth sector that it was decided to not rebuild fight island and start up a weekly show until this June, when Planet-X revolves to a spot around the dark side of Jupiter. To add insult to injury, a particular rival monster wrestling fed known as the MCW started using the name of WMW without permission. After getting that taken care off and after a lot of re-organization, the WMW is back, sort of. Our equipment on the Moon is still intact, and so we can bring you this seasonal event! However, until WMW is fully back in shape, I will personally be announcing matches over at the MWF.

Well now its about time that we start off tonight's main attraction, the Giant Monster Battle Royal! This will be for the Monster of Monsters Trophy, a very prestigious award that a monster can receive. It will take place within a giant containment bubble filled with breathable air. This year we have decided to move this event to a giant meteor crater. Here is a topographic map of the battle area:

Those gray blobs are usually boulders, the gray squares are buildings, and those yellow X's are the monster's starting positions. The rules are simple: 20 monsters enter, only one survives! However a lot of monsters seem to hold a near-incompatibility to die, so we have added a rule stating that if a monster is knocked out of commission to a point where they can't move or do anything for a very long time (a few hours essentially), then they are "out" of the match. So basically pinning and submissions are useless, and you can't retreat either because this powerful force field encases a massive sphere that goes underground to. Now last year they "popped" the bubble, but we have added extra measures this time, and if a monster does go out of bounds they are also "out" of the match. Well, whatever it is, we are now ready to start this match! I am ready, the technicians are ready, the monsters are ready, are you ready? Ladies, Gentlemen, and Kaiju fans, LET'S GET READY TO RUMBLE!!!

The monsters stand in random positions in a big circle on the edge of a flat area in the crater, with the slopes to their backs. When the bell rings, most of them decide to roar a mighty battle cry and just go charging forward! The monsters who can fly do so and fly forward, but Gamera goes backwards to use the slope as a ramp so he can roll forward in his shell! The circle gets smaller and smaller until they all collide in the center, and the battling begins! T-Rexx immediately grabs onto the Behemoth’s long neck, whips it around like a dog with a squirrel, and as the Behemoth’s head falls to the regolith, the first kill of the day is registered! Gamera and Mechagodzilla are tangling it up, Gorgo and King Kong seem to be going back to an old rivalry, the three GINO’s we have here are fighting each other, and above it all is a massive dog fight! Bagan is just plane throwing monsters around left and right, and T-Rexx seems to be ripping Frankenstein’s arm off! Frank retaliates by chucking rocks at T-Rexx and then kicking him with his nifty lead-bottomed boots, but T-Rexx latches onto his chest, rips real hard, and of all the gross things that has ever happened at WMW this one takes the cake! The body of Frankenstein’s Monster falls to the ground, for his heart, his life force, is now beating within T-Rexx’s mouth, stuck between his teeth! And as T-Rexx swallows a whole mouthful of flesh and bones, Frankenstein is official "out", for an invincible heart stuck in the stomach of a dinosaur aint goin to do much!

Now the three GINO’s do have a close relationship with each other. Cybergodzilla is GTS Godzilla’s father, and "Godzilla" is a clone of Cybergodzilla which pretty much makes him GTS Godzilla’s "uncle". However father and son have never gotten along, and Mr. GINO himself was never considered to be much more then a clone by those two, and so basically all three are battling each other up near the edge of the bubble. It’s a cool little side match to, because they are taking full advantage of the Moon’s low gravity to jump around all over the place and even to run strait up the wall of the shield! Mothra and Battra seem to be trying to kill each other again, as well as Gigan and King Ghidorah, and what the heck is Orga doing to Hedorah!? Hedorah seems to have tried to cover Orga with his toxic blob of a body, but Orga retaliates by ABSORBING him! Dude, Hedorah and Orga have like become "one"! I guess he’s Hedorga now! And T-Rexx’s rampage is far from over as he runs over to Ebirah and just tears his pointy claw off! Battra and Mothra keep at blasting each other, and Mothra swoops down low over the crowd of fighting monsters with Battra at close pursuit! However, as Battra goes near T-Rexx, he jumps up and grabs Battra out of the air! Battra tries to escape but his wings are "clipped" by the teeth of T-Rexx, and the big therapod Dinosaur proceeds to tear into Battra like crazy! After getting green blood splattered everywhere, Battra’s "lights" go out and he is one with the dead! Speaking of which "Hedorga" has been "eating" all the dead bodies and absorbing him, becoming more and more like a miss-matched monstrosity!

Ghidorah is flying overhead blasting everything below with his gravity rays, well until Bagan blasts him out of the sky that is! Mechagodzilla walks on over to a good shot of Bagan and starts to shoot him with his megabuster ray and eye beams! T-Rexx, still out for more slaughter, seems to have randomly picked Bagan as his next "victim"! It seems like he bit off more then he can chew this time, because instead of being effected by the crushing mouth force of T-Rexx, Bagan just shrugs it off and slashes T-Rexx repeatedly! Mechagodzilla continues his distant assault at Bagan, causing him to shoot Mecha G with his white-hot beam! It gets absorbed by Mecha G’s diamond shield, transferred to the plasma grenade energy pool, and shot back out! Bagan sees this so he uses T-Rexx as a living shield, and then as a living projectile, and after shooting both Mechagodzilla and T-Rexx with some energy stars, T-Rexx can no longer be a living anything! GINO, Cyber GINO, and GTS GINO have been going at it all this time and are now in quite a predicament. Cybergodzilla is biting on "Godzilla’s" neck, who is biting on GTS Godzilla’s neck, who is in turn biting on Cybergodzilla’s neck! In an attempt to settle the stalemate, King Kong (who just got done knocking Gorgo in the head with a large rock), Gamera, and Destoroyah come over, each one grabbing on a separate GINO’s tail, and the three monsters pull off three tails and start whacking everybody with them! Cybergodzilla and GTS Godzilla release their grips, but "Godzilla" doesn’t, and as GTS Godzilla goes to stop Gamera from hitting him with his own tail, he runs into Cybergodzilla, falls over him, and since his neck is still being held by "Godzilla", his throat gets ripped to shreds! And obviously angry Cybergodzilla starts shooting at everything, but that only causes Kong, Destoroyah, and Gamera to gang beat him to death! "Godzilla" escapes violence by burrowing underground.

Mechagodzilla has been fighting a loosing battle with Bagan, and is at a point of exploding! Bagan takes advantage of this by throwing the smoking hulk into Mothra, where it explodes! Mothra is sent to the ground, barely alive, and after Rodan drops Anguirus back first on her she isn’t alive at all! Bagan then picks a fight with the Queen Alien. Kong goes back to fighting Gorgo, and although he has hit her more then she hit him, she doesn’t seem to be hurt much by the previous attacks (except maybe that rock incident). They duke it out for a while, Kong’s wrestling skills vs. Gorgo’s large clawed hands, until Kong puts her in a running crucifix powerbomb position! He runs strait up the slope of the crater, and right when he gets to the shield wall he throws her forward with all his might! She goes crashing into the shield, and for a brief moment it fizzes out, causing her to get trapped on the other side of the shield! She collapses to the ground, and passes out in a coma, which somehow saves her from the rigors of space but she’s still out of the match due to being incapacitated and for being out of bounds. Although he eliminated Gorgo, Kong made a boo-boo in the process. He went to far forwards, and is now stuck in the shield! The front half of his body is outside of the shield and his back half is inside! The front halve feels the power of the vacuum, as his blood boils and his body decompressurizes! And to add a finale to the pain, he explodes, and a still beating mechanical heart falls to the ground on the wrong side of the shield.

King Ghidorah gets caught between a rock and a hard place, also known as Gigan and Destoroyah, and all three heads get chopped right off. Orga, who is now an unexplainably weird looking cobbled together bunch of DNA, decides to try to add Queen Alien to his collection by swallowing her whole! Although he gains a hard exoskeleton and acidic blood, he forgot the consequences of swallowing something who’s final stage birth arrived from popping out of someone’s chest! Ms. Chest Burster comes right out of his body, splattering acidic blood all over poor Gigan, disintegrating him, and she walks out with a dead "King Frankenemothothrabatahedorgazilla" behind her. She seems happy to have killed something that ate her, but not when she and what’s left of Godzilla (who just unsuccessfully popped out of the ground to attack Orga), get engulfed by a massive stream of fire from Gamera! They both get burnt to a crisp, die, and Gamera turns his attention to Bagan. Bagan and Destoroyah are currently fighting, and as Gamera tries to figure out how to kill the dangerously powerful Bagan when he’s not looking, Gamera notices that Ebirah is hiding behind some rocks. He goes over to Ebirah, picks him up, caries him towards Bagan, and clamps Ebirah’s big claw on Bagan’s neck! He motions Destoroyah to hold the claw, and Des does so even with Gamera walking away and Bagan blasting everything. Gamera tells Rodan and Anguirus something (they were just sitting back and relaxing at the time), and Rodan flies off while Anguirus and Gamera walk towards Bagan. Rodan swoops down towards Bagan, Anguirus jumps back first to the same target at the opposite end, and they both hit on either side of Ebirah’s claw! The force of the impacts, the strength of Destoroyah, and the sharpness of the claw causes Bagan’s head to pop right off! The decapitated Bagan falls into the dust, and one of the more powerful monsters around is out of this match!

Destoroyah, Anguirus, and Rodan roar in apparent victory, but Gamera, the instigator of all this, decides to send another massive stream of fire out! It engulfs the three monsters (Ebirah hides again), and as the smoke clears Destoroyah is nowhere to be seen. Every one of her cells was completely destroyed, but Rodan and Anguirus are not even effected! The two fire monsters team up, with Anguirus hitching a ride in Rodan’s talons to tackle Gamera! They double team Gamera, pecking and biting him like crazy! Gamera flies off with Rodan in close pursuit! Rodan shoots Gamera with his Uranium beam, but Gamera simply absorbs it and shoots out a trio of fire balls, which just bounce off his resistant hide! Gamera then flies above Rodan, grabs onto him with his right arm, brings his left arm in his shell, takes his left leg out, and with two rockets going he spins Rodan around and around and around and around! A dizzy Rodan falls face first to the dirt, and Gamera gently lands next to Anguirus! Anguirus turns around and jumps backwards at Gamera, who simply sidesteps to cause Anguirus to hit the shield instead (luckily the decided to boost the power of the thing)! Gamera grabs onto the fallen Anguirus, and lifts him up for a "Turtle Hammer" (as dumb as the name is there is nothing better to call it)! Instead of dropping down as normal he gives it a bit of a twist to a slanted boulder, which causes Anguirus’s neck to snap on impact! Rodan gets up, sees that his good buddy is dead, and then goes strait for Gamera! He collides right into the big turtle chest first, causing sparks to fly, and then pecks him repeatedly in the head! Gamera knocks him back with a slash from his elbow spike, and then flies off! Rodan follows, but Gamera turns around to spear Rodan in mid air! Rodan falls to the ground but as he gets up he gets speared again! He collapses to the ground back first, and when he opens his eyes he sees Gamera coming strait down to spear him into the ground! The force of all those shell spearings, especially the last one, causes Rodan’s chest to crack like an egg! As Gamera stands over his dying opponent, they both see Ebirah crawling around in the distance. The giant lobster has tried the best he can to stay out of this match, and he managed to survive this long. Rodan then decides to shoot Gamera one last time with his uranium beam, which is absorbed by Gamera, and he seems to be willingly giving all his remaining energy with it! Gamera glows with a renewed charge up, and he turns to face Ebirah. Gamera shoots forth a massive plasma beam at a surprised Ebirah, and the forceful energy impact causes Ebirah to blow up! There are pieces of crustacean raining down everywhere! When Gamera looks back at Rodan, he sees that he died with a smile in his beak.

Nineteen monsters are "out", only one is "in", and that monster is Gamera! The winner of the second annual Winter Wham Battle Royal, and the 2002 holder of the Monster of Monsters trophy is the one and only Guardian of the Universe, GAMERA!!! Last years winner was Gojira, this years is Gamera, and as for next year, who knows? Well now that the main event is over, you might think this is it but its not. We will take a short break, and then do a little rap-up interview!
