Salado YRE
Sept. 22, 2007

Carol, Ed and I started walking this event at 7am while it was still a little dark. We decided to walk the route backward rather than tackle the woods in the semi-dark. There is a map on the directions which made walking it backwards a snap.

Walk starts at the Stagecoach Inn.

I was trying to get a picture of Sirena the mermaid.
The statue represents a legendary Indian maiden who
was transformed into a mermaid by a magical fish.
