B I O G R A P H Y ··········································································································································································· Vikas Khanna (pronounced We-Kaas) was born on November 14th, 1971 in Amritsar, India. Vikas started his cooking career at a very young age, starting as a helper in his grandmother's kitchen. He has shown his culinary talents around the world and has cooked at some of the most prestigeous kitchens of US. His dinner at the James Beard House has earned him additional allocades. He has received various International and National Awards for not just his cooking, but also for his humantarian efforts to bring the world closer through his food. He was honored with the "Proclomation of Distinction" from Mayor Bloomberg of New York was for his outstanding contribution to the city.
