Hi, my name is Happy. It’s a great name and I earned it because in all reality I really am happy. Hard to believe because in 1981 at the age of just 17, I broke my neck in a diving accident and became a quadriplegic. I couldn’t do much for myself for many years. But I learned. In the process of my healing many things took place, I got married to a loving woman and have a wonderful child. I also discovered the art of photography. Not many people see the world from the perspective that I do. I see things from a different angle, cactus blooms, flowers, weeds in the crack of sidewalks. Everyone is so busy trying to find that perfect picture, but because my life moves in slow motion, my lens catches the simple things that we often take for granted.
Now after all these years, I am selling my art as either framed collages or single photos. You can also purchase my pictures on CD as stock photos. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoy creating them.
