During the holiday season there are so many, too many, families struggling to make ends meet and sometimes a fabulous holiday dinner is simply not possible. So TOMORROW'S GIRLS & WOMEN, always wanting to do what we can, when we can, held our very first Annual Family Turkey Basket and Free Turkey Giveaway. With the help of God and Advancing Families (they donated 50 turkeys to us), we were able to help families, churches and community organizations. With food and you guessed it...turkeys.

We just had our very first...

To say that it was AWESOME, is truly an understatement. These little darlings enjoyed themselves from beginning to end. This one was for ages 3 to 7. Our next age group will be ages 8 to 13. Can't wait for that, but in the mean time, check out our little queens for a night:-).

We look forward to joining them again for future endeavors.

Our very first event as the newly formed TOMORROW'S GIRLS & WOMEN was a huge success. We wanted to introduce our selves to the community and what better way to do it then by honoring our MOTHER'S.

It was a beautiful May afternoon when mommys, daughters, sisters, aunties, friends and even some daddy's came out to celebrate the women in their lives. Clearly, nothing would have kept them away, as love knows no boundaries. We all gathered at the fellowship hall, in Germantown to be inspired by words, hear some joyful tunes, and invigorating laughter, as TOMORROW'S GIRLS & WOMEN kicked off our first annual event.

It was truly a beautiful day. Not only weather wise, but in spirit. The spirit of giving. The spirit of doing. The spirit of love for your fellow human being.

At the end of the day, the lesson learned by all was, no matter your age, we all have something to give to each other...
LOVE, LAUGHER, FRIENDSHIP and TIME.
