Judit's Service - Monday, June 1st, 2009

The following are links to audio files (MP3) of Judit's funeral service. Thanks to David and Zach for providing the recording.

From David' description of the service: "As people assembled at the sanctuary, we played Carole King's "Tapestry", Fleetwood Mac's "Sentimental Lady", Eric Clapton's "Tears in Heaven" and Jackson Browne's "For a Dancer". Each had special meaning for us. Purely by chance, the last song ended just as the service was scheduled to begin. Our son Zak suggested we play the last song. As he mentioned it to me, but not before, I remembered that 25 years ago (more or less) Judit told me that she wanted that song to be played at her funeral. Yeah. All family members and close friends wore Judit creations. Pallbearers were eight women friends, all dressed in Judit creations. As we walked out of the sanctuary, Kellianna's "I Walk with the Goddess" was playing."
