A writer's lust I must tell you,
and let the truth be known.
Is long and hard and very true,
although it is rarely shown.
A fever, that for exist one cure
that will spare the writer strife.
The remedy does more, tis for sure,
granting an author life.
A perfect quill to let flow,
words of golden beauty.
Whether hateful dark or lovely glow,
they give an author duty.
Words of wisdom,
tales of power,
they create a wondrous kingdom.
Many think the heart to be a futile organ,
yet all wish it will beat in love,
no matter how futile it is.
Many live life in love and constantly jest of it.
But many still claim Eros as their muse.
In short, to write, to love,
to feel, to be,
This is the cure so it appears to me.
