My Own Dang Events (MODE) are events setup for those that don't like to pay the high priced entry fees of the organized sporting events. It also has a little to do with the fact that most of the participants are simply average joes wanting to do something sporty. It is a family and friend operated program.
The Way It Works
Come join the fun. All we ask is for a $10 donation to cover the cost of shirts. and if you don't want a shirt you don't have to pay. Each participant is responsible for contributing to the snacks and food. For example, spouces might get together and provide a luch for the participants.
We are intersted in having fun while staying healthy. If you want to participate in a 5K run, but can only run for part of it, don't worry just walk. It is for fun, good health, and camaraderie.
