The report.... .....
..JUNE 2005... organised a trip to fish the hards with "spiro" [chris] and "streaker" [wayne].
my crew for the day was "no luck"
hooked up with sprio on the hghway at burpengary for the hour trip to mooloolabah. my
first time to drive the boat off but "no luck" [fidal] had it down pat...
departed the harbour at 4.oo am into pitch darkness and following the stern light in front.
but the light went out and holy shit i didn't know where the f%&8 i was..
Radio call had the light back on . travelled at 3000 rpm and 2 hours later arrived...
fishing was slow but we managed a feed and enjoyed the day on the water and meeting another ausfish member.
fidel couldnt believe it when he pulled up a flathead..?.
the snappa were good quality around the 2/3 kgs.. see pics...
the haines performed better than any other mono hull i have been in and had the 22 deg dead raise working to the max
i will installed a suspension seat. replace the electrics with a 182 c map GPS and 600l sounder...
only better days ahead.....
